Christmas Angel

Sorry my card is not straight, I had problems with my hands I guess. It is the start of Scrap Land challenge #28 and this challenge is all about embossing you can do dry or heat. As you can see I did dry embossing with one of Cuddlebug folders called snowflakes. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your card/project that are from Scrapy Land store. They carry 40 different kinds of dies cuts. The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to Scrapy Land. All of the challenges are Bi-Weekly.

I see the reds look a little different, I guess it must be because of the lighting. I purchased several sheets of this paper awhile back and I do not know who makes it but it is stunning with all the red glitter on it.

These are the dies I used Creative Expressions Sue Wilson b2015 Christmas Angel. The only thing I add was pearls.

The Angel die is so beautiful, you can see so much of the detail.

On the inside the dies I used are Cherry Lyn designs Merry Christmas set B186 and Memory Box frosty border. Do not forget Scrapy Land has it’s own Pinterest page stop by and check it out.

This one is from Impression Obsession DIE225-N the peace doves are so pretty.

Hello it’s Kitty, Just wanted to say Hello!

Hello everyone it’s time for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and the twist for this week is Tick Tack Toe and how fun is that????? Here is the chart! The things I used on my card are different layers, digital image and ribbon.
I used sparkle, digital image and pattered paper.

The spellbinder is called elegant ovals and I used the big one and the one down from that. My ribbon is from Joann’s. My paper I got at a rummage sale and I do not know who makes it.


Added some Viva glitter pen hologram, Silber, light blue and some glossy accents. The sentiment was something I printed out in Word. On the inside I burnished the edges with distress ink tumbled glass. I do think the sentiment is from Hero Arts but I purchased a long time ago. My small paw print I do not know who made it.

Happy Birthday

Welcome to my blog, I’m so glad you stopped by. It time for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and the twist for this week is to make a Birthday card. Our wonderful sponsor is Stitchy Bear and the image I choose to use is called Nanbubbles.

I used a Sizzix framelits die called Basic Step ups, it has 21 dies. All the pieces you see cut out are from the dies that come with the set. It was really easy to use.

The greeting on the out side is from Stampin up Petite pairs set. Stickles yellow, lime green and turquoise. Tooth picks for the stems of the flowers, colored them with BG67. All the paper was from my scraps, added some pearls white and brown for the flower center.

These are the copic markers used to color the image.

Used glossy accents to highlight the bubbles. Made some grass to give her something to stand on. A little B0000 for the background.

This is what I did for the inside. The greeting is from Stampin up set Good Greetings. Added some pieces I had let to the inside.

Sparkle at Christmas

Our Challenge #27 has started at Scrapy Land blog and the theme for this challenge is anything goes. I decided to make a Christmas card and these are the Scrapy Land store dies I used.

The tiny snowflakes are from Fiskars punch. I added gems light blue and clear gems.

Brilliance inks Mediterranean Blue, Moonlight white,  I did color some of the white glitter paper for the stocking die, the holly die and some of the tiny snowflakes color used was copic B28.

I add some dimensional stickers Jolee’s boutique called snowflake repeats.


I made my bow with the Bow easy, I love that things. It makes such pretty bows.

Put some Viva Deco glitter Pen color Silber on the stocking tops.

This is the inside of the card. The sentiment is from Inkadinkado. Made an easy bow. Took a close up picture of the top inside.

ATC’s at Twisted Thursday Challenge

Welcome to The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and the challenge is always anything goes but with a twist and the twist for this week is to make a ATC card. Stop by and see the ATC’s cards the designers made, they did a wonderful job. It has been many years since I have done any Artist Trading card. I use to do them all the time. I belonged to several clubs and had a lot of fun receiving all the different ATC’s from all over the world. If you do not know what an ATC’s is here is a little history about them and I’m sure there is a lot more but this is what I could fine on the internet.  
ATC Stands for Artist Trading Card
You never sell or buy any ATC you always trade them. The size for then is 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 always. They are miniature works of art. They are called inches. The idea of making ATC's was born in 1897 by a Swiss artist M. Vanci Stirnemann. He wanted to document his work, and the work of others at the conference and discovered that the cost was far to grand to print a catalogue of the 1,200 participants. Stirnemann decided to create 1,200 cards by hand so that he could distribute them to everyone who attended the art show. Everyone was encouraged to do the same and at the end of the show the ATC's were traded. This was a very successful idea that rapidly spread across the world. Your theme can be anything.
On the backs of ATC's the artist always put their name, contact information, name of the ATC and they numbered them. Like if they made 3 of the same ATC they would put 1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3, this way you knew how many of that ATC were made. Our wonderful sponsor for the month of October is Stitchy Bear. The die cuts I used are impression obsession small Leaves DIE-095. The paper I used when I cut out the leaves was from some of my Gelli plate paper I made. The background paper was from when I use to do ATC’s it is some I had left over. Put some stars on the background from Stampendous stickers. I cut out all the pumpkins and used a pop up to raise it up. Add some Wink of Stella Clear. Added some glossy accents. The Kitty punch is from Carl’s and the ghost has no name on it. Sorry!

These are the copic marker I used to color the pumpkins.

Taylor Expression die cut and stamp set called Light as a feather. The set has 3 sentiments, 3 feathers and 2 die cuts The ink I used is Kaleidacolor blue breeze. Added 3 sequins. The paper I used was from when I use to do ATC’s it is some I had left over.

MEOW, C is for Cat!

Sorry I have not been around but we have been a little busy here and had some thing to take care of and now that things are done I should be around more. The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge has stated today and the twist for this week is ANYTHING GOES. You really need to be proud of me and you might ask why???? My scrap ben is getting very low, all the cards I have been making I have used my scraps and even for most of my die cuts. I do have to say for my solid scraps I do still have a lot but my pattern papers is so low. The spellbinder used to cut out the image is called labels 40, for some reason I really like this one and it is a good size for a lot of my images. 

You can see here that it is 3D and I see in the upper left corner it says MEOW and you really can not tell, sorry!

The flowers are from Heartfelt Creations sunflower stamp and Heartfelt Creations sunflower die cut. The flower center used some earth elements texture. The greenery is Martha Steward Branch and Fond.

How do you like my mouse? I found him with all my kitty stuff and how fun was that! This is the inside of the card. I know I went a little crazy with the kitty theme but I was having so much fun. The sentiments on the inside my friend made for me, she works at a trophy store and these are the scraps they put in the garbage. She is such a sweetheart to do this for me. I found this pink ribbon and I loved it so I had to add it to the inside. Pink works? right? The kitties down on the ribbon are buttons and I cut off the backs. I can not forget my kitty brad I got them at the convention this summer and though they where so cute.
