Magical winter sentiments
              Christmas train right 2012
My card turned out to be so much fun to make my grandson is going to love it. What I did was enlarged the Christmas Train image to the size I thought would work for a size for a card. Them printed at centered it at the bottom of the card stock, then tried printing it out a couple time with typing paper to make I could fold the paper in half. Then when I felt good about that printed the image on card stock. I cut the train out but if the size was fine you could get away with not cutting the train out.
Christmas train left 2012
As you know me, I would have to add some thing in the window and of course Candy Cane Jingles is the perfect and the cutest snowman ever and the sentiment. Then with all the Aleene’s True Snow, Twinklets Diamond Dust, fluff, Diamond Glaze.
Christmas train inside 2012
This is how I did the inside. I had some candy cane paper and add a couple of sparkling Christmas trees and snowflakes (fiskars tiny snowflakes punch)  and left a space open for a message or a stamped sentiment.
Christmas train markers
These are the copic markers used to color the images. Here is a close up of Jingles.

Dear Santa

Dear Santa 2012

It is time for Cards for Men Challenge #24 and it is all about Merry Christmas. Your card must be for a man or a young boy. The challenge begins today and ends December 2, 2012 at midnight. We would love to see your creation. Our Sponsor for this challenge is:

Scribbled Kidz

Scribbled Kidz is all about fun images largely inspired by my family and what they might get up to. They are all hand drawn originals scanned in at 300dpi and saved as jpegs.   If you have any suggestions or special requests please let us know. Please pop along and see what we have to offer.

Dear Santa right 2012

My card for me is really simple. My image is called Dear Santa.  The sentiment is from When the scraps hit the fun. I made a frame around the image with Martha Steward aspen snowflake punch around it measures 5 inches by 5 inches. Punch out the sentiment with 1 1/4 round punch and 1 2/2 scalloped punch. Used some scrap papers around the image, snowflakes and inside. Added Stickles glitter glue star dust.

Dear Santa left 2012

Different view.

Dear Santa inside 2012

On the inside left open for a stamp message or a written message. Punched out on the left side a snowflake #5.

Dear Santa sentiment

Just a closer look at the sentiment.

Dear Santa markers

Copic markers used to color the image.

Dear Santa close up

I added some white to give a look that he is in his PJ. Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful week.
