Hope you’re back on your feet soon

Hope your back on your feet soon 2014
Hello everyone, I’m back to share with you my card I made for The Outlawz Twist Thursday challenge for this week and as always the challenge is “anything goes” but we have a twist and this week our twist is “FEET”, we would all love to see what you can come up with. My feet are from Crackerbox Palace and they are so much fun. Here is where you will find the feet they are called Happy Feet large and I have the Feet Flower. The sentiment I used are also from Crackerbox Palace  and here are the Get Well sentiments they have about 3 pages. if you go to their suit they have a phone number you can call or you can place an order. Here is another great thing about their store if you want a sentiment made they will make it up for you and it does not take a lot of time, great place to shop. I stamped all the stamps with Memento tuxedo black ink and the paper I stamped everything on is X-press it.

Our awesome sponsor for the month of JULY is:

My paper is from DCWV called Burlap paper and the mixed media paper studio ribbon I purchased at JoAnn’s. Punched the sentiment out with Stampin up punches sizes 1 1/4 and 1 1/2 scalloped.

I stamped the feet flower a couple times and cut it out and made it 3D and added a yellow pearl to the center. It is hard to see but I made a lady bug and put it on the toe and how I( made the lady bug was using some pearl pen ink colors red and black and put some small dots on some paper I would be able to remove them from when they are dry and after they are dry taking my permanent (small tipped)  pen and adding some very small black marks.

I added this sentiment for the inside, thought it was funny.

Dream

Dream 2014
Over at The Outlawz Twist Thursday challenge is ANYTHING GOES and the TWIST for this week is ANYTHING GOES, so stop by and enter you card we would love to see it. I wanted to do something really different and I had one of these metal containers around for awhile. I got out my Alcohol inks by Tim Holtz’s. The colors I used are butterscotch, terra cotta and stream. Also the blending solution. Our sponsor for the month of July is Anne’s digital images.

I did take pictures from all sides so you can see how it turned out. After I added the colors and that depends on you how dark you want it to be or how light. Like for the top I added the butterscotch on one on the felt pads but remember (if you do not change your pads you will make mud) to change your pad it you are changing colors like I did with the stream color. I added some of the blending solution to another pad and if your color is too dark you can whip some off.
Dream 2014 l
Now for stamping on the metal, I put some blending solution in a paper towel (pretty wet) put the stamp in the solution and stamped on top of the desired area.
Dream 2014 b
When you use 2 colors when they meet it can be a little messy so I added some ribbon around the metal container. I ran my tap on top of the tap and then applied it to the metal. You can use anything for the front. I punched out 2 flowers and punched out a small hole in both so I could add the ribbon to them. Added speckles glitter glue colors gold and magenta.
Dream 2014 tb
Tried some ribbons to the top handle. I took 2 pictures of the top so you can see how I added the different colors to the top area. That was the (very lightly) terra cotta and stream.
Dream 2014 tf
Believe it or not this is not a mess thing to do and it is pretty fast. All the stuff dry's real fast. It give a nice polish stone look and the solutions are all formulated to lighten and blend. Any questions just let me know.  So if you never tried this it is fun and easy. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

Tennis anyone?

Tennis anyone 2014
Hello everyone, I hope you have been enjoying your summer? It has been pretty cool summer here in Wisconsin but for me I love it that way. Been in the middle 70’s with beautiful sunny days and cool at night. Have had no air condition on this year so far. With not feel so good I have been taking things pretty slow, doctor found my thyroid need to raised so now it is 150mcg and also had to stop my cholesterol so now I take Gemfibrozil 600mg twice a day and that is for cholesterol and triglyceride. I hope these are going to make a difference for me because feeling down, tired and having a cold is not fun and it is taking way to long to go away. So just taking it easy and trying to get better.
Now all the good stuff, The challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday has started and the twist for this week is about FUN IN THE SUN. Our sponsor for the month of July is Anne’s designs. The image I choose for this week is called “Suzy Tennis Anyone S008” and you can find her here.

All the paper I used are from my scrap ben. Always trying to use them up. The die cuts I used are from La La Land their Heart Banner and Sizzix Ticket die.

Add the hearts from the banner to the ribbon from Hobby Lobby it is a sheer iridescence light blue. I sponged around Suze with Brilliance sky blue.

Sorry how the color turned out here it has a purple look to it. This is how the inside turned out. Left it open for a sentiment or a written message.
