It's all about ME!

Sorry I so late posting my card. My son spilt a cup of coffee on my card yesterday before I had a chance to take my pictures, so you know what that means.. I had to do another card and it was in the early evening and had some other things I had to do. Life does get crazy like this, this is the first time for me never had coffee spilt on my card before. So the challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday has began and the twist for this is is all about Baby/Toddlers. The image I choose is called Uh oh.
Our sponsor for the month of January is
Stitchy Bear.     http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/
The paper is Die Cuts with a View and it is The All about Boys stack. I think the image is just adorable. The card is really made simple.
The little Robots are stickers from recollections KIDS.

 This sentiment is from TLC.

The inside of the card. The sentiment is from Doodles Pantry.

Here is another one of the robots.
The copic markers used to color the image.
The close up of the image and I water colored the background.

On A Winter's Day

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge is starting today and for this week the twist is make a card in your favorite shape. I'm really not fancy I like to make the standard A2 card. Our sponsor for this month is Stitchy Bear. The image I choose to use is called On A Winter's Day.
http://stitchybearstamps.com/shop/

The edges are distressed. Applied white liquid applique on some of the trees, fence and on some the house. Sprinkled glitter and them heat set the applique so it would puff up just a little.
Used chalks to add some colors. In the windows I used some yellow Stickles glitter glue so it would give a glow of the light are on.
Was not happy how the inside turned out and did not have time to change it and I will. So no picture of the inside this time. Here is a close up of the scene. I think you can see everything much better. I really like the way the chalks turned out with just a touch of color.
Thanks for spending a little time with me, hope you have a great week end. Stay warm if it's cold where you are or stay cool if it's hot.

Cool Buddy's

It is time for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and the twist for this week is all about Pets/Animals. We are starting a new month and our sponsor for the month of January is
I used a spellbinder die called deckles rectangles large to cut out the image. The image is called BB Kakes Cool Buddy's and you can find it here. I had some foam stars I found in my stash and thought they would look cool with the star paper.
I used a lot of my scraps to complete my card. Still trying to use up all my scraps. Add some red ribbon to the corners for something a little different. The sentiment on the front is from TLC. They have so many interesting ones. I punched the sentiment out with one of Stampin ups punches called extra large decorative labels.
This how I finished off the inside of the card. This sentiment is also from TLC.
These are the copic markers I used to color the image.
Here is a close up of the image. I sponged around the image with some Brilliance ink color sky blue. I sure have had one crazy kind of week. I hope your week has been better then mine. When you get those days when things all happen all at once and you do not know what way to turn and have so much to do and get nothing done. Thanks so much for stopping by, have a great week end. It is going to be real COLD here in Wisconsin, hope it is better where you are.

Ice Skates

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. It is time for Scrapy Land challenge #33, our first challenge of the New Year. The challenge is our favorite one "anything goes" and you need to use die cuts the Scrapy Land sales in the store.

Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.   Please link your project back to this Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project.

The die cut I used is from Sizzix Bigz L Brenda Walton and Sizzix Tim Holtz alterations snow flurries. Their is a Video to help you to make the Ice Skates and I want to share that with you.
This is not fun but of course I could not get the video to upload here but I did get it to upload just under this posting so if you would like to watch the video it is only a 5 minutes long and you can see how easy it is to make the Ice Skates. If you have any questions PLEASE ask.

I used eyelets for adding the skates ties.
Here you can see Tim Holtz snow flurries. Added some gems to some of the centers.
Added a couple pom poms to the ends of the ties.
To be able to add so much glitter and sparkle I used Foam sheets called Foamies glitter sheets colors magenta, red silver and gold. Used lots of Stickles glitter glue colors used are Xmas red, gold, silver, black diamond, star dust and orange.
This is the inside of the card. The papers I used is from my Christmas scraps. All you need to do is fold a sheet of 12" by 12" in half and line it up with the ice skates area (shoe area) and you can cut it out. For the inside I did cut 2 of them and glued them together.
This is a fabric sentiment I had in my scraps.
These are some bards I found in with my stuff.
More stuff I found.
This is the left side of the inside.
This is the right side of the inside. Added some tiny snow flakes to the holds.

Now you know I made the card so I had to try and make the ornament and this is what I did.

It is all pretty much the same.
Added some pine cones and some red ribbon this time. Used red and gold and will save this for next years tree. Some red gems and Xmas red Stickles glitter glue. Wrapped the red ribbon around the holds for laces.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love your comments so if you have time please leave something.  I'm sorry I'm having problems with Window Live Writer, it is not working right and they are having some problems so I have to use Blogger to post and I normally do not do that so until they get this fixed I will need to use Blogger. To be honest I do not know what one is worst. I just can not get rid of these boxes a round my pictures????
