Sorry I’m a little late posting my card. The sentiment used for my card is from Crackerbox palace store, they have all kinds of sentiments and if you want them to make one for you they will do that, they are awesome people and they also have a blog. Punched them out with stampin  up 1 1/4 and 1 1/2  scalloped punch. The paper is DCWV the Mediterranean stack.

Added some yellow ribbon and Viva pearl pen color yellow.

Used EK Success medallion plate and the scallop punch for the inside.

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a good week end? It is time again to start The Color Me Creative challenge #77, and for the challenge it is all about “ANY WAY YOU’D LIKE”.

The images I used for my card: the little girl is called 09 September and the sentiment is called mini fall time. The flowers punch is from McGill creativity called daisy. Martha Steward branch punch.

Spellbinder die beaded oval for the little girl and cut out the sentiment with stampin up artisan label punch. Visa pearl pen color orange. Paper is from The Paper Studio called Country plaid and country random flowers.

The leaf stamp called falling leaves is from PSX and the company is out of business. Added some silver metal square. The ink used to stamp the leaves is from Kaleidacolor ink color harvest.

Thinking of you today

Been a little while since I posted. Been working on my cards and getting things ahead so I can leave town and all I need to do is post the finished card. My mind is going kind of crazy thinking of all the things I have to do, I will get everything done. Going down to Austin to see my brother,  sister and a friend. Not all a fun trip. So lets talk about the card. I ended up making it a GET WELL card with a Fall theme. The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge has started and the twisted for this is “ANYTHING GOES WITH THE TWIST OF FALL”.  The sponsor for this month is Nicecrane designs. The paper is from DCWV  Indian summer fall stack.   The sentiment is from Door Country. Several time used EK Success falling leaves edger.

Pearl Pen from Viva color sunny yellow.  Yellow ribbon and button. The extra leaves are the ones that are left from the punch, added them to the card.

The inside sentiment is from Stampendous. Added a couple of my lady bugs.

Back To School

Back with The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge for this week and I bet you can’t think of what the twist is going to be, ha ha !! It is “BACK TO SCHOOL”. Juke Box Baby

Color Me Creative challenge #76 is all about “RETRO FUN” Our sponsor for the challenge is Digi My World and the image set I used is DS73 called 50’s Juke Box.

Added all kinds of glitter to the juke box, Martha Stewards bronze, soft pink and Deco Art glamour dust. Added some Stickles glitter glue to the paper color silver and glam pink. The paper is from The Paper Studio. The music die is from CC designs called music border.  Using foam dots popped up the record, juke box and the girl.

The sunglasses, roller skates and the B, all came in a button container I got at Hobby Lobby a long time ago. The bow is out of paper and this is the first time I have tried make a bow with paper. I was going to share the template with you but for reason I can not find it but when I do I will share it with you.

The inside records are stamps from Graphic rubber stamps. The ink I used was memento tuxedo black, then used Versa mark and added clear embossing power and heat set that so the records looked shiny. The die cut is from CC Designs called music border.

It time for Cards For Men challenge # 18. Our sponsor for the challenge is Fresh Brewed designs. The image I used is called Balloon.

Hi. I am Heather Dennis. I am a homeschooling mother of 2 wonderful children, the wife of 12 years to the love of my life, a Christian and the owner of Fresh Brewed Designs. I have loved to draw and create ever since I was a child. My daughter has inherited my love of art and recently inspired me to start creating again.
All the images in my shop are hand drawn. I offer a wide range of images from coffee, cute and inspirational. I also love to create custom drawn images, so if you are looking for anything in particular, please feel free to drop me an email.

I’m not a big tag person but it was fun putting this together, I had now idea what I was going to do. I had this container I had been putting little thing in for awhile so I thought… why not dumped it out and this is what I got. I colored the center with the copic markers and sponged the edges with distress ink color tumbled glass and added viva inka gold color blue. On the right side is a prima craftsman wood embellishment. Above that I’m not sure if it was a button or not, thought it would work for a guy.

The numbers tape is from Studio G decorative tape. I printed up the up and away. I distress the edges with my NEW Zutter distresser. I cut the balloons out and if you look at the image it has rope blowing in the wind with flags, so I tried to draw them (do not draw well) and took a tiny heart punch and cut it in half and used them for the so called flying flags (not so floppy in the wind). On the clock drew in the time it was the time I finished my tag. The gears I just had.  

No idea why??? Thought these would be different like flags flopping in the wind. The metal corners just only had one of each and the little thingy in the middle is kind of pretty, so added the flowers that I already had made. Added eyelets and rings. 

For just 3 balloons this is also of colors but trying to add shades with the light coming from the upper left side. The right side could have been a little darker and the upper left should have been lighter. The BG’s, B, C’s and the W was for coloring the sky. The gems on the balloons are some tiny ones.  I hope you enjoyed my card.
