Today is the start of Scrapy Land Challenge #19 and the challenge is "ANYTHING GOES". We would love for you to join us. This is a Bimonthly challenge so it ends June 15th. All we want you to do is make sure the dies you use are sold at Scrapy Land store. The winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to Scrapy Land.

 

The die cuts I used for my card are Impression Obsession, Die222-ZZ (reading tree) and I cut out 3 of them to make the tree more full, Die154-A (bird), Die083-K (cats) and Die206-V (fence). Memories Box wild flower patch, PoppyStamp country patch house.

 I tried to give a 3D looks.

 Another look. Added some Wink of Stella glitter clear but it is hard to see.

 On the inside I added some of the left over cuts. The sentiment is from Fiskars Make a Wish quotes. I used Brilliance ink color Mediterranean blue.

 The image I’m using for my card this week is called “Sunflower Kitty” and you can fine it here.

The Spellbinder I cut the Sunflower Kitty out with is called labels twenty-seven. The ribbon is one I had from Jo Ann’s.

The fibers I used for the middle of the flower, butterfly and the sunflower the Kitty is sitting on is a mixture I made up of different materials. I call it Earthy texture.

This is a Spellbinder classic butterfly die cut. I colored it with distress refills added a light glaze and some crystal glitter.

 Heartfelt creations classic sunflower die cut and stamp. I colored this with brilliance orange. added some crystal glitter.

This Cardinal is a sticker, sorry about the shine but he is really pretty.

The paper used are from my scraps. The sentiments on the outside and the inside are from The Angel Company.

Cards for the TROOPS!

I want to share with everyone some of the cards my friends and myself just made to send off  to OWH and I’m so glad they do not need so many cards anymore being that we do not have as many Soldiers over Seas anymore. We are going to miss making the cards. I add the card in no special order. I hope they might give you some ideas.

Specially for you

The Outlarz Twisted Thursday challenge started and the twisted for this week is us your “FAVORITE COLOR” and one of my favorite colors is lavender/purple.

Our sponsor is Sami Stamps and the image I used today is called “WILD FLOWER BEAUTY”

My paper is from Hot off the press Gypsy jewel paper stack. The spellbinder I used to cut the image out with is called labels 4. I did a water color wash for the background.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used chip board on the top and bottom colored with brilliance ink color purple. Used shimmers colors fully purples and snow angel.

The flowers die cut is from Heartfelt creations called classic sunflower and I used Heartfelt creations classic sunflower stamp. Color them with the brilliance ink color purple and sprayed them with shimmers fully purple and snow angel. Shaped them and added pearl pen color ice white for the centers.

This is how the inside turned out. On the chip board cut the ends off so used those ends on all corners and sponged around the center paper for a sentiment or a written message.

Happy Memories

It is the start of the NEW Scrapy Land challenge #18 and the challenge for this time is all about “BIRTHDAYS”.

The only restriction's are, you need to use the die cuts that Scrapy Land SALES, here is a list od die cuts they sale or stop by the store and see what they have. 

The dies I( used to make my card are Memory box large ringlets, loopy ring border, cosmic stars border.
Impression Obsession Happy Birthday die 166-F. Used the left over stars from the die cut cosmic stars border.

Used Tim Holtz’s Spritzer (think that is what it is called), used distress pen color fired brick, not sure if I like that or not yet. Sponged around the edges with distress ink color fired brick and then added some Stickles color paprika around the edges.

Here you can see all the sparkles. Used shimmers red and terra cotta.

For the inside added a sentiment from stampfastic. The loopy ring border and some stars, stickles.

I used regular card stock, had no colors marked on the papers but I liked the combinations. I was surprised how the red worked so well with this color. I stamped the sentiment with distress ink color fired brick. Added the shimmers to the inside also.
