My image is called Gemma the Giraffe and is so cute.  My papers are from a 6 by 6 stack of papers put the cover is not on the stack so I do not know what it is called but I think the papers are so cut.The yellow giraffe was part of the paper, I just cut him out.  Also the two stamps for the sentiment I do not know who made them !!

Added stickles glitter glue icicles Viva pearl pen colors turquoise and cream. The little giraffe the is sitting was a button, cut the back off and smooth it out. I do have to say I had so much fun making this card, everything just feel together.

I found this ribbon, is that the most darling ribbon? I got it is from Hobby Lobby. Them I thought about train rides, do you take rides on the train when you go to the Zoo? This is Martha Steward train edger punch. Them I added some faux stitching for the tracks and a little something for the paper edge.

Just a few copic markers. I ended up looking up Giraffe on line to see how they look, I guess I looked at them but never really looked at them (no what I mean) but I could of made them look little more like a red head and their feet blend into more sandy color but he is a cutie!!

I was over at my friend Vicki blog yesterday and she had seen a video about this little boy who is 3 years and going to be 4 and has cancer and he wants LOTS of birthday cards. I could not think of a better place to post this and maybe you would like to post this on your blog also. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANYONE THAT MAKES CARDS???? I DO!!!! The young boy has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer. Because of the illness, he won’t be able to celebrate in person with a large group of friends.

Feel The Breeze Of Summer

First I want to tell you that I can not find my notes for my card so lets see how much I can remember. At the Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge has started and it is always “ ANYTHING GOES” each week but we ALWAYS ADD A TWIST AND THE TWIST FOR THIS CHALLENGE is a BEACH THEME. For the month of July our sponsor is Digital Delight by Louby Loo.  I know my sentiments are from Digital Delight but I can’t remember what sets they are from (sorry)!! The stamp I used is from Stamp Happens and I do not remember what it is called.

                           I stamped my image on Crygoen white paper with Memento tuxedo black ink. I also stamped the birds and man walking with boy from stampscapes. The paper is from my scraps and I still have a lot left, so working on using it up but I’m sure I will never do that. The ribbon with the buttons is from Spare Parts and you can get them from Hobby Lobby.

The die cut used is Spellbinders decorative labels 22. Used stampen up punch for one sentiment and the birthday one is from marvy uchida it’s the purple one. The red beads are from Want 2 Scrap. Added some cheese cloth from Hobby Lobby.

This punch is from Tim Holtz and the one in the middle is from Fiskars. My girlfriend printed out this sentiment and I just love it so I added it to the inside of the card. Sorry I do not know where it came from. Added some rick rack red and white… I found a big bag of all kinds of colors, what a surprise<..> !! 

The copic markers I used after I took the picture and look at the markers I realized that I did not have my R22, R24 and R29, these are some that I used on the little girls dress. This happens when you have way too much stuff on your work table. So that is my next thing I HAVE TO DO…. Is get my craft room cleaned!!! Things put away. I have so much I want to do and share with you but can’t do it with a messy room. I have been working with metal art and some other projects.

Proud to be American

I want to thank Wendy for a wonderful year at Digital Delight, it is been a lot of fun and she has created so many awesome images. It is time for me to move on and take a little time for myself for the summer. The image I used for my card is called  tubin Sally and the sentiment came from summer of smiles sentiment set. Also The Outlawz challenge over at Twisted Thursday has started and the twisted for this week is to make a US July 4th or Canada July 1st card.

The papers are still from my scraps. The die I used to cut the image out with is from memory box it is called Astrid circle.

The corners are from Cherry Lynn designs called lace corners deco G. Added stickles glitter glue diamond to make some sparkle.

Used a Fiskars punch on the ends, sorry I do not know the name of the punch. Left it open for the message.

The little flag is for drinks and the other sentiment I cut out of one sheet of paper. July is almost here,  hope you have a safe holiday week end!

Oh Butterfly…

At Color Me Creative challenge #71 has started and the theme for this challenge is to USE ANY COLORS THAT INSPIRE THOUGHTS OF SUMMER. The sponsor is Milk Coffee Digi Designs and they have given us some wonderful images to work with, my images is called Fairy Tiffany.  The challenge ends July 5th at 8:00pm. We would love to see your creations.

I did use a spellbinder die to cut the fairy out but I ended up cutting the ends off because it was to big, so I only used the center. My sentiment is hard to read it says SPREAD YOUR WINGS AND FLY and that is from Cindy Close. The pearls are from Hobby Lobby, come in a string and it says Ribbon FX.  I added some Pearl Pen from Viva color cream around the fairy. Sponged the edges with distress ink color tumbled glass.

The corner cuts are from Cherry Lynn designs B163 lace corner deco C. The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts. The paper is from DCWV it is the luxury stack. The butterfly's are from Martha Steward punch called classic butterfly. I punched the butterfly’s  out with  a gold Vellum. The sparkle on her wings is Stampendous Fan-tage color shaved ice.

Surprised at the way this picture turned out the card stock is the same but I guess the lighting made it look different. I trimmed the edges with another one of Martha Stewards punches. Left the center open for a written message or a stamped message.

Here is the close up of the image and you can see how the fran-tage looks. It is so pretty.

ON SUNDAY OUR CARD CLUB GOT TOGETHER, (WE DO THIS ONCE A MONTH) TO MAKE SOME CARDS FOR OUR SOLDIERS AND THESE ARE SOME OF THE CARDS WE PUT TOGETHER, THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE THE CARDS WITH YOU AND OUR FRIEND TERI, WHO IS PART OF OUR CLUB BUT MOVED TO TEXAS FOR HEALTH REASONS AND WE MISS HER. THIS IS A WAY FOR ME TO SHOW TERI WHAT WE DID AT CLUB. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF CARDS WAS 150, JUST THINK TERI IF YOU WHERE THEIR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN HIGHER. Surfing Jimmie

We have Another delightful Thursday this week at Digital Delight and also at The Outlawz at Twisted Thursday our challenge has started and for this week the twist is all about distressing your card. All the designers at Digital Delight have created some cards with lots of inspiration, we would love for you to stop.

The image I have used is called surfing  Jimmie and the sentiment come from summer of smiles sentiment set. The paper is DCWV it is from Surf’s up stack. Added some orange metal dots. Used the edger distresser on the papers edges and used distress inks colors broken china and brushed corduroy.

I cut surfing Jimmie out with Spellbinder Oval and scalloped Oval dies.  The banner is from A Muse, what I did is use fiskers mini punches and punched out a different shape in each of the banners. The swirls are from a Paper Shaper made by EK Success punch called wave flourish. Sentiment was punch out with Marvy Uchida blue punch.

Distressed the edges with the distress ink color brushed corduroy. Martha Steward deco shells border punch and added more of the orange metal dots.
