Sunny Day

Here I am again.. I do have to tell you my card is for Color Me Creative challenge #63 and that challenge is ANYTHING GOES with an option twist to use bugs, butterflies or reptiles. We have a sponsor this week and it is Digital Delight by Louby Lou and if you are saying to yourself you have heard that name before, you are right. First I have to say I just love Digital Delight images but this week with Cards for Men challenge and Color Me Creative challenge plus I’m on the design team for Digital Delight and I still have to upload my card you are being treated with all kinds of Digital Delight images this week. I sure hope you enjoy them all plus the new ones for March are being released. The image I used is called Forgetful Fran.

I think everyone has to starting thinking I must love these colors, this is the third card I used these colors on and yes I do like them and one of my favorite colors is green. Made this 3D from border and added a boat sticker.

I want to keep this short for you.. I still have another card. The designer paper are from DCWV stack called surf’s up.

Punched the corners with stampin up ticket corner punch. Added a close pin and a little sentiment that was in my stash.

Inside added a pair of flip flops.

The challenge over at The Outlaws Twisted Thursday challenge has started and for this week it is all about BINGO, here is the chart. For my card I used punches/dies, ribbon and flowers. We would love to see what you can do with your card. Stop on over and see the cards the design team put together.

The adorable image is from Wee images it is called dreamy dragon. The sentiment is from stampendous it is a stamp. Designer paper is basic grey lime rickey stack.

Spellbinder die is called exquisite circle. Pearl pen used for the center of the flowers color sunny yellow and added some ice white to the background. Ribbon is from Joann’s essentials. Flower gem are from my stash.

I wanted to show you the punches I used to make the flowers. What I did was take a white cardstock and my distress inks colors scattered straw, mustard seed, squeezed lemonade, rusty hinge, spiced marmalade, ripe persimmon and wild honey and applied the colors to the cardstock and when I felt it was enough and I always leave some of the white show as it adds highlights to the flowers.  I do this on both sides so there is no right or wrong side to the flowers. I will punch out the entire piece of cardstock and when I want to use this color for flowers on a card again I will have then already made.

Inside is a little different this time because I have 5 birthday.  Stamped the sentiment with stazOn  color olive green and that is from stampenous and so is the little boy, he is stamped with memento tuxedo black and colored with copic markers. These stamps I have had for many of years. The green out line on the edge I did that with the flat tip of the copic marker end color YG45.

Express Train

I want to get this card posted as it has been sitting here for a couple of weeks but I want to share it with you. You know I do not do many cards that are not colored with my copic markers. This one is a stamp from CRACKERBOX PALACE and it is called TRAIN. CRACKERBOX PALACE rubber stamps store  and my friends and I would stop their all the time but it has been several years since we have been their and Vicky the owner and her employees are wonderful and so talented. Vicky has a blog and shares all kinds of wonderful cards with you. They have candy every two weeks and I wanted to share that with you so if you get a chance stop buy the blog and check it out.

 

VersaMark watermark stamp pad and ultra fine black embossing power then heat set the stamp.

Die cuts with View designer paper LaCreme stack.

White metal dots. Martha Steward train edger punch. Finished off the inside and left open for a stamped sentiment or a written message. Here is the close of the stamp.

You are too HOT for me…

Hello to all my wonderful followers and peoples that just stop by, I so happy you stop by today, it is snowing softly today but by the time the snow will stop falling we will have several inches and the only thing that is good is it covers the dirty snow. What can I say… It is time again for Cards for Men Challenge #5 and it is all about  Monochromatic cards (and we don't mean just black & white).

Stamped the edges with a branch stamp from rubber necker and used Versafine Spanish moss.

Added some dots with the Viva pearl pen color green. The sentiment I printed out in word and then cut out.

Martha Steward border punch. The paper is Poteeka Souffle from The Paper Studio.

On the inside I add memory box delicate vine. Left area open for a stamped message or a written message.

The copic markers used to color the image and I also used Spica pen color olive.

I tried to make some grass coming out of the egg so I used Martha Steward fringe scissor, I guess it kind of worked. I had the carrots in the stash.

Sorry I have been MIA but had some computer problems and I do not have to tell you how many  problems that creates and then we where hit with that storm that came up from the south and it dumped over a foot of very heavy snow, it looks just beautiful but now I’m had my fill of snow and it is time for it to got away and the weather man says we are going to get more. With all these fronts that are going though they are giving me bad headaches with the changes of weather. What a bummer!!! Lets talk about something that fun. Our challenge at The Outlaws Twisted Thursday for this week is ANYTHING GOES WITH A TWIST OF A SPORT. So I seen this image at Saturated Canary and it is called Honor so I picked Artillery as my sport.

From Stampin up I used their paper, 3/4 inch artichoke ribbon, scallop trim border, corner rounder.

Spellbinder Nestabilities classic scalloped rectangle.

The gems are from Want 2 Scrap, Say it with Bling. The lace is from my scraps. Add cheese cloth.

Added from Memory Box the die delicate vine on the inside and I tried to make some small arrows with tooth picks, pheasant feathers and cut a shape like a arrowhead. It kind of worked, I guess. Let the area open for a stamped sentiment or you can add a written message.

These are the copic markers used to color the image. I also used copic multiliner sp 0.3 pens olive, orange, red, sepia and yellow. To make the tiny flowers.
