Welcome to the Scrapy Land
Challenge #36. The theme for this challenge is Tie One On, include a bow.
(die or ribbon) plus use any brand of low profile or steel ruled die Scrapy Land sells. Scrapy Land has over
40 brands of
dies. You can see them all here. Please link
your project back to this Scrapy Land
Challenge Blog. It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the
brands of dies used in your project. The challenge closes on Sunday, Feb
28, giving the Designers time to choose the Winner and the Top Three. The
winner will receive a $15 gift certificate to the Scrapy Land store. Please limit the number
of entries to five. The image is from Art
Impression called Dotty unmounted golden oldies UMU2778.
The card I made is a Bow Card. You can get the template from Sandra's Scrap
Shop. The link is www.sandrasscrapshop.blogspot.com
. #91: Bow card template. You can find all kinds of different templates for
different kinds of cards. I have seen this card made at different blogs but all
I have seen is the front view, I hope what I show you will show you how easy
this card is to make. After I cut out all the pattern pieces. Burnished all the
edges with distress ink color brushed corduroy and peacock feathers. Them I sewed around the bow edges and thought that turned out pretty good. The
sentiment on the outside is from The Angel Company.

The paper I used is from The Angel Company called The Sands of Time. Added white
Tulle in between the bows. These are the dies cuts used for the card. I want to make another one with some fancy designer paper that looks like ribbon. This one took a little longer because it was the first one but the next one should be pretty fast.

Spellbinders Classic Diamond die
Here you can see the Cherry Lynn die better. I did have to cut it down a little
to get it to fit.
This is how thick the card looks when it is finished so it will have to be put
in a larger box/bag. I would not mail it, give it to someone you love.
Here is how the bottom looks. The way Dotty
is dancing I wanted to add some sparkle so on the Tulle I put some Stickles
colors shamrock, sea glass, crushed pineapple, cool mint and raspberry tart.
This is the inside of the card. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
These are the copic markers used to color the image.
Here is a close up of the image. I paper pieced Dotty
dress and panties.
If you should stop by Sandra's shop and pick up the bow template and have any questions feel free to email me if you have any questions. Thanks so much for stopping by.
