Green Fairy and This is my style

I decided to post these 2 cards for you because they where kind of the same color group and not for any other reason. I need to get some of my cards posted so you do not think I never make any cards. I lost my instructions on this card and can not remember the where I got most of my things. So I’m going to show you pictures.

I do know that the flowers and the fancy stuff I got at Hobby Lobby in the Bridal Department when it goes on sale and I get it at 50% off.

The die cut is from Spellbinders. The lace is from Wild Orchid crafts. The inside I now that is an EK punch.

These are the copic markers used to color the image. Sorry I do not have a close up. You can click on the card and see a close up that way and no I have not been drinking, I just forgot.

This is my style

This was a color challenge and these are the colors. The layout I did myself why, no idea! But I had fun with it.

The words are from The Angel Company. The paper came from my scraps.

I just created layers! This is the inside. No big deal.

These are the copic markers I used and I do not have a close up of this one, why I do not know…. go figure?

Dress

Sorry I’m so late posting this, we have had several family members stopping by this week and not staying long so time was cut short. I wanted to give you the pattern and tell you how super easy this is to make. The Twist at Twisted Thursday is to make something and use texture. So I thought I would use material and I found this awesome material in all different colors. How I did the background is I used glossy paper and I added watercolors to it and for my inside background I did the same thing. 

These are the views of the card.. I used Beacon adhesive Fabri-Tac permanent adhesive (Love this stuff) it is really thick so I thin mine out with a small amount of 100% acetone. The Fabri-tac work great when you are are working with material, lace, ribbon anything that is like fabric.

I want to tell you, I’m so sorry how bad this picture turned out. All the other pictures where fine but this one.

I wanted to do a couple of the dress with paper and what is nice is you can use your scrapes. First I used my light box and copied the patterned on the back of a piece of paper and that work just fine.

Cut it out. You need to remember the straight lines are mountains and the dotted lines are valley's.

So then I took out so gridded template plastic (I use that a lot for my patterns) and thought this might be easier, so I made a pattern. I think it was easier but if you do not have any I would not go out and buy any. So I cut out another dress.

So this is one of the dresses I cut out. You could also cut the top in a different color and way you want it. You could use real fancy paper add some ribbons be creative. I did all the folds.

You can click on the picture and save as and you will have the pattern.

This is what it looks like when I was kind of done. I have not put the dress on a card yet.

This is the other one. I used beads on this one. Used some beads to look like buttons. So they are fun and real easy. Not sure if I was going to make a card might do something else, have any good idea?

Small Wonders

It is time for Scrapy Land Challenge #13 and it is all about “Anything goes” using Scrapy Land dies. I really like the anything goes and I’m sure you do also. I added an image to to my easel card and it is from Stitchy Bear it is called “Please Me” I do have to say Stitchy Bear Silhouette has some of the most beautiful silhouettes. At the end here I did large the image pretty big you can see so much of the little girl.

Easel cards are really easy to make, but I have been crafting for a long time and I have have from there are a lot of crafters out their that do not know how to make an easel card so I have a link here for a basic easel card and that is what mine is, you also can get real fancy with these easels cards. But if you are a new crafter lets start out with the basics Easel Card.  I hope you enjoy the tutorial.

I always try and show you all kinds of views of my card. Sometimes if it’s a card you would like to try if you have all the views it makes it easier.

I was thinking if I took a picture of the dies it might save me some steps but I feel it really not going to.  Poppy Stamp Meadow leaf die( I could not fine the leaf), memory box butterfly delights die, C. C. Designs phlox flower, Cherry Lyn design exotic butterfly small (could not fine the small one), Cherry Lyn design southern charm valence and Spellbinder decorative labels twenty-two.

I added 3 buttons and to cover the holds in the buttons I added some black and white Pearl pen.  Also added some Pearl pen color black to some of the edges.

The sentiment is from Stamp’in up.

Purple Roses

Hello again, I hope your week is going good. I just cannot shake this flu and I finally called the doctor again today and she ordered me something that is much stronger to help be fight this off. My son David said to me today Mom I never seen someone stay so sick for such a long time and my wonderful friend Lee called me and told be if I do not do something she was coming over. So this has been 3 weeks and what I’m getting better work because it is getting the best of me. I love sharing my creations with you but it is so hard when a person is sick so we are going to stop this. It time for Srapy Land challenge and it is all about using a spray mist, paint, inks, glitter some kind of medium on your card and using Scrapy Land die cuts and that is easy they have so many, just stop by and check them out. Stop by Scrapy Land blog and see all the wonderful creations all the designers did for the challenge.

Spellbinders Nestabilities majestic elements labels twenty five, When I cut these out I used two sided paper, so I cut them out twice and use one side for the front and the other side for the inside. My flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts.

The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The corners are from Susana custom art and card design called classic corner.

As far as the medium, what I used is Tattered Angels glitter mist color fully purple. I painted the mist on the roses and also added some ultra fine glitter from Martha Steward. The fern is from Punch a Bunch called Rock Fern punch.

My butterfly is also from Wild Orchid crafts and I painted some of the tattered angle glitter mist on it and added some tiny gems.

Here is the inside and try to get a close up of the inside die, hope you can tell the difference between the ones on the front and the ones in the inside. I also put one butterfly and tiny gems.

The image is from DigiStamp4Joy and it is called “Rose”. I tried adding some of the tattered mist but not sure if I like that.
