Angelfish
SCACD celebrates today a newly released exclusive rubber stamp set Eclectic Sea (9 rubber stamps all together). The Eclectic Sea is a twist of sorts in how something land bound might be seen in the ocean; for example a Sunflower that is now a Coral Sea Flower and vice a versa. So check out the collection as these are really unique and elegant. SCACD Artist Carmen Medlin and Susana collaborated on the images and we are so happy to be showcasing them to you now. The stamp I’m using is called Angelfish Trio. Now available for purchase in the USA HERE for the Eclectic Seas collection. Our International Friends if interested can email Susana.
Stamped the Angelfish with memento tuxedo black on cryogen paper. I used watercolors to do the background different shades of blues. I looked up Angelfish on the computer and I could not believe how many different kinds their was. I liked this one but I could not fine a name for it.
Angelfish are so shinny so the Wink a Stella would work wonderful for coloring them. So the color used was blue and clear. Used diamond glaze for the bubbles. The very little fish I wanted him to be so far in the background so I colored him with Wink a Stella silver.
Thanks for stopping by and have a super week end.

Over at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday we have started our challenge and the twist for this week to make a card with “thing with wings”. I choose this image it is from Stitchy Bear and is called Flutterby, I just love it because it is a humming bird. Stitchy Bear is sponsoring us for the month of June.
I made the card really simple. Just use colored card stock.
Added some Pearl Pen color gold.
I add some paper flowers I had for a long time to the branch. Just pinched them together and glued them on the branch.
These are the Wink of Stella inks I used.
These are the copic markers I used.
The die cuts are Spellbinders Labels 40, Impression Obssession Branch Die022-U and Sizzix Thinlit Adventure #660224. Check out all the words you get with the Sizzix die it has some great words.
Using some of the works for the inside of the card. I did color them with gold Wink of Stella ink.
Here is the close up of the image.
