It is all about Friends and Family

its all about friends and family 2013
Welcome everyone!! This time of year is a magical time and it is all about friend and family and it's almost Christmas and we all have family and friends we enjoy spending time with at this time of the year, we also have family and friends that we don't see or visit with often enough but still mean just as much to us! That is where my fellow design team member from all the teams I’m on mean so much to me and all the fearless leaders like at Color Me Creative challenge site each year we do a little something just to tell Suzanne how much we appreciate everything she does for us. This is my Christmas card to Suzanne this year. She is a fantastic lady and I wish her and the family A Merry Christmas and the best New Year. Have you ever been to Suzanne’s  blog she has the best stories ever and as the years have gone by we have watched her children grow up, daughter going off to collage, kids being sick all the things family do as years go by.  So we would love for you to join in on our blog hop. So if you are doing the blog hop that means you came from Linda Payne blog and the next place you need to go is Christine Riley’s blog. Have fun and I hope this gives you some inspiration.

Blog Hop order:
The dies I used are spellbinder corner sprigs, sizzix medium branch, memory box winterland tree. Stampin up scalloped 1.75” punch.  6 petal punch for the flowers. Both sentiments are from stampabilities D1146 glory to God and ER1106 Christmas and New Year 02.
its all about friends and family 2013 l
The papers are from my scraps. I did real sewing on my mini sewing machine. Used some pearl pen color gold. Distress ink around the edges color vintage photo.
its all about friends and family 2013 i
I also want to wish everyone at I Brake For Stamps Blog design team and Della a Wonderful Christmas and a Special New Year, I really enjoy all of the fantastic ideas and inspiration and look forward in creating all kinds of new projects in the new year. If you would like to check out the store.
How I did the angel, I colored her with copic markers and added score tape over the image and added diamond dust glitter and rubbed it in real hard and then went very lightly with the same colors of copic markers over but just in some area’s. The glitter takes real good to the copic colors so you want to make sure you do not add to much color.

You know I can’t forget all the friends at The Outlawz design team and besides that all the fantastic girls that work so hard for me at Twisted Thursday challenge, they are the best designers ever. From all of the design teams, I have made friends all over the world and I do not say that lightly. Daily I talk to people from Australia, Norway, England, Canada, Africa, India, Ireland and there are so much more. We learn so much from each other. It does not matter where you live it is all about friends, family, the joy of life and crafting. The surprising thing is that I have had the opportunity to meet some of these people because of the crafting world is so wide spread. I can’t forget about all my followers (friends) that stop by and leave me a comment, that’s what makes this all worth while because if it was not for you, why would I do this?  Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a VERY Merry Christmas and that you make all the memories and treasured times you can with your family and friends.

It’s getting to look a lot like Christmas

Getting to look a lot like Christmas 2013
I’m feeling so wonderful today and I have some fantastic new to share. Georgianne has feeling in her feet and she has moved her left toe. This is the best Christmas ever, things are still going to be slow but finally she has feeling. For the ones that do not know my sister in law had a large tumor removed from her brain in September and has not had any feeling from her neck down since. I love good new!!! So the Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge has started and for this week the twisted is ANYTHING GOES WITH ANYTHING GOES now how easy is that. The image I used from Stitchy Bear is called snow mail box. OMG I was just over at Stitchy Bear and looking for the link for the snow mail box and if you like scenery images there are some winter, spring, fall and summer  scenes that are breath taking.

All good thing must come to an end

You may have noticed, things have been a little slow at Cards for Men, it has been a wonderful 4 years, I can remember when we first started in January 2010 I was so excited. I love making masculine cards as I have so many men in my family, how perfect is this design team and I get to meet people from all over the world and that is what happen. If I remember right I think all 4 years I was the only person from the US but that was fine. From the beginning Our faithful leader Donna from Donna Den of crafts  (who is the best & good friend), Shirley a lot of you might know her as nannieflash (her blog & good friend) and myself have always been their. So this is sad for us and to see the other designers leave, it has been fun seeing all the fantastic creations everyone has done. I do look forward in seeing them on other design teams or in cyber land. Things have change for Donna and life just happens so the challenges and winners for Cards for Men. At the time when Donna started this challenge  blog she highlight the need to make more of Male cards and now their has huge change in the availability of images and accessories specifically aimed at Men's Cards.  There's also a lot more dedicated challenge blogs around.  Hopefully, she had something to do with that.

Oh Deer!

Oh Deer 2013
For this week at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday our TWIST FOR THIS WEEK IS BINGO. We would love for you to join us. Stop by and see all the designers cards, everyone did a fantastic job. From the Bingo chart I used on my card was twine, digital image and different layers.
HOW TO MAKE A BINGO CARD.
Look at the bingo board, choose three in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally, and create  a card with those elements.  You could choose the top row, for instance, and so you use a die cut or a punch - a sentiment - and make it a card with more than one fold.  Or you could choose three in a row going from top too bottom, or three in a row from one of the top corners diagonally down to the bottom opposite corner.  The choice is yours.
Our Sponsor for the month of December is STITCHY BEAR
