The image I used from MHK Designs is called Butterfly Wisdom, and you can fine it here.

I created a background with watercolors. Add a sentiment that come with the set of images.
Added some corners. Used one of Stampin up extra large decorative labels to punch out the sentiment. Colored the tiny butteries with Wink of Stella black, yellow and orange.
Here is a close up of the left side butterfly with all the timings added to it.
This one is the one on the right. I added some yellow gens, Stickles black diamond. Also some of my Earth Element stuff for the center of the butterfly.
These are the things I used to make my butterfly sparkle. Remember you can do this on anything you want to sparkle. You do the same thing. I colored both butterflies with my copic markers they turned out just a little different. These are the colors I used to color the butterflies.

Score-Tape 2 inches, deco art glamour dust. I just eyed up how much I would need and cut the size I would use. and covered the front of the butterfly and pressed down real good to make sure I had no bubbles. Make sure you match up the edges of the tape real close but not over lapping.
I applied the tape on to my mate and was able to pull up the butterfly as you can see below.

Now you need to remover the score-tape (carefully) I lifted it off the mate and slowly took the take off the butterfly.
and this is what it looked like. With a good scissors cut of the extra tape and if anything extra is still on fold it to the back.
This is what the butterfly will look like when all the tape is cut off and put toward the back. Now you are ready to add the fine glitter. Make sure you put enough.
Once you have added the glitter you can start rubbing it into the paper. I also use a brayer to help press it down into the paper. Rubbing it into the paper really helps a lot. That does take a little time to make sure it is all rubbed in.

You can see here the one on the left is the one we just added the glitter to and the one on the right has been recolored and made sure the glitter is rubber in. Now the one on the left need to be colored.
This is the one we did together. All the color has been added with the extra elements. I also put some wire for the antenna for the butterfly's, made then with black wire. Any questions just ask and I will try and help.

Their is only a few steps once you understand and it is not hard to do and if you are like me all the stuff you already have. Let me know if you give it a try. I also did this on a dress and the dress turned out stunning. Thanks so much for stopping by.
