Pretty hats

Hats 2014

It is Wednesday and it is time to share my I Brake for Stamps card with you.  The stamp I used is by Embossing Arts and the name of it is Hats. The flowers I used are from Wild Orchid and I Brake for Stamps has a full line of their beautiful flowers.

Hats 2014 r
The spellbinder die cut, I used is called Floral Oval. I added some Pearl pen ice white and for some reason I had a problem with the liquid (it kind of flattened in some spots???) so I added some pearls I already had to the area of the ones that flatten. Have you ever had that happen to you? First time for me???

Hats 2014 l
The red paper is from The Paper Company and it is called Red glitter vine. The red ribbon used is from the holiday section at Michaels. Add all kinds of white pearls. Distress ink for the edges color barn door. I used copic markers to color the image and the picture I took did not turn out. So here are the colors I used. R21, R22, R24, R27, R29, E21 and E23.

Hats 2014 i

Used Martha Steward floral lace edger and added some more white pearls.

Here is the close up of the top hats. I had so much fun creating the little flowers on top and for the greenery I punch out Martha Steward branch and then cut it out in tiny stems.

Hi!

Hi 2014

First thing I want to do before I talk about my card. I want to thank everyone for their wonderful comments they left for me on my last card. I would of love to of replied to some of you but I was unable because some of my blogging friend do not have a blog. It means so much to me when you talk a little about yourself, I get to know you a little better and you are like another family to me and I want to share things with you that you are interested in or if it is some thing you would like to learn. So thanks for being yourself and I love you all.
Now for this week at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge our Twisted for this week is to add three things of something to your card. I added 3 flowers and 3 pearl dots. Anne’s digital Art is sponsoring us this month and my image is called “Suzy Valentine”. I have the link if you would like to stop by the shop and check any of Anne’s images. I also printed Suzy out on Cryogen Heavenly White card stock, so if you need any you can stop by Paper Temptress she has a wonderful supply. Link is below.

Hi 2014 r

The designer paper I used to make my card is from Graphic 45 from The Secret Garden stack.

Hi 2014 l

My ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon .  The Pearl Pen colors used are salmon and ice white.

Hi 2014 i

The inside of the card. The die cut here is also part of the die cut on the front of the card. Only thing I know is it is from Memory Box and I do not know the name. My friend Lee let me use her die and I did not get the name (sorry). I did find it is really big so I cut it in parts to add it to the card.

Hi 2014 m
The copic markers used to color the image. This is the close up of Suzy she is so darling. The tiny flower is a punch from punch a bunch and the center is the ice white pearl. I want to tell  you Scrappily Ever After is where I get all my punch a bunch punches and they will be going out of business at the end of the year. I so sad about that because I could always find what I was looking for from them.

Hi 2014 c

Thank you for stopping by! Hope everyone has a wonderful week end. Be safe!

Memories of the Ocean

Memories of the Ocean 2014
Welcome everyone, I want to share a card with you that I made for I Brake For Stamps. It is a beautiful day here in Wisconsin sun is shining and the temps are in the 40’s. Although I love all the seasons and my card make me want to go by the ocean. Over at the store you can fine all kinds of stunning scenery stamps. This stamp is called Cape Hatteras North Carolina (large), this stamp is a picture of that light house. These are some of my favorite kinds of cards to do.

Memories of the Ocean 2014 r

The first thing I did was stamp my image on Eclipse printable paper, this paper has a sticky adhesive and it makes it easy to mask you image and you can use the paper more then once. Then I cut the image out. After that I used several inks to color the stamp.

Memories of the Ocean 2014 l

Doing the background I used my sponges and a template. The inks used are Brilliance Mediterranean blue, ice blue, sky blue, orange, coral, yellow and beige. Some opaque white and clear glaze from Sakura.  I added the corner, thought it would give a framed look.

Memories of the Ocean 2014 m

The different inks I used to create this scene. The makers you see on the right side are Mementos markers colors bamboo leaves, rich cocoa, cottage ivy, desert sand and lady bug. I applied those inks right to the stamp. Stamped the image on my card stock and after a couple minutes applied the Eclipse paper over the image.

Memories of the Ocean 2014 i
Sentiment is from IBFS it is called footprints in the sand, thought it was perfect for this stamp. I cut the sentiment out with spellbinders deckled rectangles large. Used Versafine majestic blue to stamp the sentiment. I sponged around the edges with Brilliance Mediterranean blue ink, the die cut is from Memory box called lavish branch. Flower centers is pearl pen color black and the dots is pearl pen color blue. Left area open for a written message.

Remember if you stop by I Brake For Stamps and want to get a discount use my coupon code and that is SAVE10PAT.

I do want to tell you that I’m really having a great time cleaning and going though EVERYTHING in my craft room. So I’m not doing this in a hurry and my room is looking totally fantastic. I do not have all that white fancy furniture like a lot of the girls have, I have had to use what I have had. I will share pictures when I’m done. Thanks so much for stopping by and be safe where ever you are. I hope you have had a Happy Valentine’s times day. I got to spend the day with Emma (granddaughter she 8) and we worked on some crafts together.

Tea Wrapper 2014_thumb[2]
It is a beautiful day in Wisconsin today, the sun shining and everything is sparkling so pretty after a fresh snow fall. Tea Wrapper 2014 f_thumb[2]
This is the front, I added a cup charm to each of the wrappers. Used glossy accents to add some shine to the cups, tea pot and lemons. To hold the charm on used a tiny red star brad. For the tea look on the cups added some stickles color cinnamon.

Tea Wrapper 2014 mid_thumb[2]
This is the middle. The flowers on the tea pot kind of disappeared so I added some tiny red gems flowers that I had in my stash and the flower centers is viva pearl pen color black. Thought they where so pretty so I added a big red flower in the center.

Tea Wrapper 2014 b_thumb[10]
This is what the back look like.  Used a Notch and die cutting tool from Basic Grey to make the cut to hold the front closed. If you look back at the front the cut is under the tea cup.
