Welcome to the Scrapy Land Challenge #40
The theme for this challenge is
"OH Happy Spring"
plus use any brand of low profile or steel ruled die Scrapy Land sells.
Scrapy Land has over 40 brands of dies.  You can see them all here.   Please link your project back to this Scrapy Land Challenge Blog.  It would also be extremely helpful if you would list the brands of dies used in your project. Remember to stop by and check out all the wonderful cards the design team made.

Have a chance to win a $15.00 gift card to Scrapy Land. The challenge is Bi-Weekly so it ends on May 1, 2016. This was a really fun card to make. The image I used is from Phindy's Place and the image is called "Sharing". The artist name is Philomena O'Neill and has been around for a long time. Thought it would be a perfect image of a little guy discovering something new in the Spring.
Directions to make the card take a 12" by 12" scrapbook paper (kind of strong) cut it 5 1/2" across. Take your score board and score at 2" and 4" and I turned my paper and scored again at 2" and 4". The middle will measure 4". Turn your paper around and measure up 2 1/2" from the bottom and mark the paper and take a ruler, from that point draw a line up (top) to the second score line and I took my cutter and cut that part off and do the same on the other side. For the folds, the first one is up and the second one is down. Now you can add all your goodies and make it your card. Have any problems let me know and I will be happy to help. If you make one let me know and I will love to come by and check it out.
This shows you the Spellbinders Floral Doily Accents die.
Instead of cutting out Cardinals I made them Blue Jays. The buttons are metal and I love the way the flowers are etched in.

Here are closer views of the Bloom one flower die. These are the left and right side. As you can see I add more glitter. The color are lime green, shamrock, yellow and true blue.
Closer view of the die cut of the sentiment.
The glitter paper for the Flutter butterfly, on the underside I colored it with Wink of Stella color Blue.
These are the colors I used for the image.
Close up of the image and some of the small butterflies.
Would love for you to join us. Thanks so much for stopping by. Here are the dies I used to make my card.
hugs and smiles,
Pat

Very adorable of the little boy and caterpillar and reminds me other day while substituting, one little kindergarten boy wanted to bring in all of his worms in the classroom that he found in the school yard. Very cute card.

Woo! Another ornate, intricate wonderful design, Pat! Love the special fold, but it is what you have done with the fold that is so fantastic! The incredible flowers framing your little mud lover are beautifully made. Your pretty greenery reminds me of the hidden garden. Everything is fun and inviting, and makes me not only appreciate all the work in your masterpiece, but transports me to the times in my childhood where I played in the mud and wet sand, creating and laughing. Thanks for the inspiration! Hugs, de
