Beauty in Nature

Beauty in Nature 2014
Happy Thursday to everyone and I know on some places it is Friday so I hope your Friday is a happy day also. The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge has began and the twist for this week is all about the “Great Outdoors”. So we hope you can join us.

My choice of image for this week is from DigiStamp4Joy it is called “New Home” and I think it is perfect for this theme. The paper used are from Heartfelt creations sunkissed collection. The die is from spellbinders called labels 8.

The flowers I punched out with Nellie Snellen medium Flower FLP006 and also used the embosser. Added Beedz in black for the center of the flower. Punched the sentiment out with McGill word punch. The sentiment is from stampscapes sheet #7.

The inside is always left open for a added stamped sentiment or a written message.

Last week at The Outlawz our challenge was taking a Ride and I did not get a chance to post my card.

Car 2014
This is one of the easiest card I ever made. I used spellbinders scalloped ovals and cut out green and white card stock. The set of stamps is from The Angel Company called “Cars”.

Car 2014 r
Layered everything. Used the corner rounder. Added some green and white metal dots.

Car 2014 l
Added some distress pine needles ink to some of the edges.

Car 2014 i
My ribbon for the inside is organdy and finished off the inside. The close up of the car.

I want to thank those that keep coming by and leaving such wonderful comments. I truly appreciate it and I appreciate your continuous support on my blog. It wouldn’t be the same without you!

Patricia your coloring on that boot image (and its background) is amazing. Those flowers are spectacular.
Your green & white design with the car and your well-placed brads is just slick.
Two gorgeous designs. Well done.
Blessing hugs,
Teresa

Patricia,TFS 2 lovely & so different cards. Loved the old boot (it reminded me of a similar Impression Obsession boot I had done recently). Loved your fantastic coloring and the addition of the pretty punched flowers. The guy car card was fantastic! Great job on that nifty card as well. TFS & big hugs. Off to enjoy the pretty flower card I see in your earlier post.

Wow! GREAT use of die cuts and green, Patricia! I am in the midst of making some "halloweenie friendship" cards for friends, using that same scallop oval. So I'm pinning your card to copy the "sketch" for the layers at another time. REALLY looks great. hugs, de
