A Present for Me!

Present for me 2014
Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. We have started the Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and for this week the twist is to make a card with your favorite color. I want to tell you it was hard taking pictures of my card for this week. It was a cloudy day and the wind was blowing and I had a hard time keeping the card standing. So mother nature was not being very nice. At home I do not need to go out side and take my pictures. So please bear with me. Our sponsors are for the month of April.

The flowers and the branch I punched out, was from Martha Steward. Spellbinder die I used to cut the little girl out is called Fleur de Lis Squares.

The image I used from Nicecrane is called Little Magic Girl #4. in the set there are 6 darling all colored little girls.

The inside and the papers used (for the hole card) is from (PSX) Personal Stamp Exchange. The paper is from my sister-in-laws and I was so surprised that she had PSX paper. They have long been out of business. This paper is so beautiful. Here is the close up of this darling image.

Now for last week at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday the twist was to add a butterfly to your card.

Love is like a Butterfly 2014
I used Stampin up stamp set called (hostess set) Fast and Fabulous. Distress ink colors disty concord, milled lavender, forest moss and bundled sage and some memento tuxedo black.

The sentiment is from The Angel Company.

The die cut used to cut the frame is from Sizzix and I sorry I can’t remember what it was called. After cutting the the layers out I used stampin up ticket corner punch on the corners. For the inside used EK Success punch called diamond flower edger.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I so sorry for not posting more. Just to let you know I really think this has been so good for Georgianna. We have been working on the cord of her body and doing lots of exercises to try and tell her muscles in her legs they will walk again some day. So do not take little things for granted because once they are gone it is so hard to get them back.

Hi Pat!! Still sending prayers for your sis-in-law!! Wow, mention of PSX takes me back a long time ago. When I first started stamping, that was my fav company and I was sad to see them go out of business. Your cards are both gorgeous!! I love them both! The purple floral one gives me some ideas for our Garden Club sale!!
Hugs

I made your yummy "Apple Spice Cake" today and will be brinign it to my Grand Niece's Christening party this afternoon.

It's always such a big hit and ha become one of my favorite "Go To" Recipes...I tend to love apple desserts and this is always so good. I managed to save four pieces to leave at home, so I can have one again tomorrow!!

Thanks so much for sharing that recipe....I'm so happy to have it!!
