Time for Fall

Times are changing 2013

I’m here with a card. Sorry it has been awhile but that stuff takes a lot out of a person, it even takes a little of your crafting out of you. Over at The Outlawz Thursdays Twist challenge has started and the twisted for this week is all about FALL  COLORS, as you can tell I was having problems with my card, try something different and did not come out the way I wanted it too. My stamp Happy Thanksgiving is a tiny stamp and have no idea who made it. My image is from Oak Pond Creations and it is called TRASH CAT’S LAMP POST,  Kimberly has so many darling images so if you have time stop by.

I've been an artist since the day I was born I just never knew it. As a child I always loved arts and crafts but as an adult I let real life take over and forgot about the important things like scissors, paper and glue.  I dabbled in jewelry making for a while then my friend Jeni introduced me to papercrafting in 2011 and later that year  I started sketching my own greeting card images.  In April of 2012 I opened Oak Pond Creations Digital Illustration Studio on Etsy. I hope my images provide inspiration and smiles. Hugs and happy crafting!

Just want to point out how straight I stamped my sentiment, It is like this pour card was domed. But the kitty turned out so nice…. I just had to add them. See this is what being sick does to a person.

Don't be so hard on yourself, Pat. I think your card is great. I love the background and the light is beaming out perfectly so that adorable kitty could find his way home. This card was worth waiting for. I'm just glad you feel well enough to color and create.

Pat, the coloring on this image is fantastic! And it is such a sweet image! Makes for a darling card! Love all your papers and your faux stitching! And never fear about the angled stamping--you designed it that way--that's your story and you're sticking to it, lol! ;^)
