A day of joy

A day of joy 2013
We have started The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and  if is ANYTHING GOES and each week we always add a TWIST and for this week it is TO ADD MIX MEDIA to your card. I had so much fun making my card. I have so much mediums and I need to start using them. The stamp set is from 100% proof (never heard of the company) and my girlfriend Lee is the one the owns the set , she purchased the set awhile ago and let our friend Pam use it and Pam returned it to Lee at our stamp club and of course I seen it so I asked if I could take it home with me and Lee said “yes” because she is so sweet. So I will return it to her at stamp club. I love Silhouettes, I made two cards. You will see the other card for next weeks Twisted Thursday challenge.
Our sponsor for the month of August is My Besties, you can stop by and see the darling images Sherri has provided us! You can win 5 amazing images from The Besties.

Here I will tell you what medium I used, to get most of the mediums to stick I used versamark watermark stamp pad, also heat embossed to set most madiums,  Krylon gold leafing pen, visa inka gold color red, stampendous fran-tage champagne, gilded mica fragments, crushed glass glitter, Suze Weinberg’s ultra think embossing enamel colors red, white and clear. Distress ink color festive berries.
A day of joy 2013 l
The die cuts are, Tim Holtz butterflight cut one in red and one in white, spellbinders floral doily motifs and the accents cut each of them in red card stock and white card stock. Cuttlebug embossing folder plaid.
A day of joy 2013 ls
The flowers are punched out with Nellie Snellen flower medium FLP006 and the embosser FLP006, large flower FLP007 and the embosser FLP007. Added red gem to the center and just tipped the ends of the flower in distress ink color festive berries. The flowers are white foam with sparkles.
A day of joy 2013 rs
Added pearls around the frame and long the middle of the ribbon. My ribbon I have had for a long time, added fabric glue to the ribbon and tried to make pleats, them added the pearls and glued them with the fabric glue.
A day of joy i
This is what I did for the inside. Added some Viva Pearl Pen color red. Left open for a stamped message or a written one. I hope with these close ups you can see all the effects of the mediums.

Wow, Pat, you really filled your card with beautiful elements! Love all the media you added to this! Love the silhouette image, too--they are such fun to work with, aren't they? (No coloring is great once in a while!) Love the pretty color palette you chose, too, along with your embellies! :^)
Hope you have a great weekend!

WOW! What a fabulous creation! I do love silhouette images, and with your fabulous background made up with all those different mediums you've created such a gorgeous, girly card! I'm still away from home, and I really look forward to getting back to my crafting room... But yesterday we went on a fjord cruise on the west coast of Norway. We had sun and nice weather, we saw seals and beautiful nature - what a trip!
