I found all this stuff together in a box and I wanted to do something a little different so this is what I came up with. Paper pieced the airplane. The paper is from Paper Studio. The buttons, round fabric brads and ribbon paper clips are from spare parts from Hobby Lobby.
Used spellbinder lattice rectangles to cut out the image. Punch out some silver paper with Marvy Uchida star punch. Used a corner rounder on the edges.
Used some scrappers floss color sky blue. Had some ribbon that looked like fur from Michaels. Burnish around the edges with brilliance ink color sky blue. Added some diamond glaze and liquid pearls.
Found a mini airplane from Fiskars and added this to the inside of the card. Area left open for a message or a sentiment.
These are the copic markers used to color the image. Close up of the image.
Thanks for stopping by. It really means a lot to me and I love all the wonderful comments.

Now that is some groovy paper! The sky is amazing and the metal embellishments that adorn the plane are terrific! Especially love the tied knots on metal clips for added masculinity. Terrific card Pat :)
It is indeed awesome - he described it just right.
