Eskimo Emily

Eskimo Emily 2012

Hello everyone sorry I have not been around. I have been working on all kinds of Christmas surprises. I will share them with you as soon as I finish. This year I did several home made gifts. This card I made for my granddaughter Emma she is 7 year old and she will just love Eskimo Emily all done up in pinks. The image called Eskimo Emily  and the Mistletoe Christmas Digital Paper Pack and the magical winter sentiment are all from Digital Delight so today is our Delightful Thursday and all of the girls have done some stunning cards for you to see.  I decided to use one of the grand nestabilities  label 4 to make my card. The other dies used are memory box snowflake ornament, frosty border, winter land tree.   Cherry Lynn designs lace light deco border. I’m also using my card for The Outlaws challenge over at  Twisted Thursday and the twist is week is a child Christmas.

Digital Delights by Louby Loo is donating this stamp in both colored and uncolored to anyone who wishes to make a card for Sandy Hook Elementary. Please only take if you wish to make a card. You can pick it up here http://digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9.

Eskimo Emily right 2012

When I cut the card out I was not thinking about how it was going to stand on it’s own so I needed to use an easel. I used all kinds of fluff and I colored it with cherry ink refill and it turned out pretty good. The trees used on the top is ribbon so I used gold and green, I do love those trees. Then I added some more Christmas ribbon I got from the Christmas section of Michaels.

I thought the sentiment would be nice for her, we love our children to believe in magic.

Eskimo Emily inside 2012

This is the inside of the card. I just noticed I did not put a white sheet inside so I will have to do that so I can write a little something to Emma.

These are the copic markers used to color the image.

Delightful challenges for this week is anything goes. Stop on over and see all the wonderful cards. The challenge this week is going to be for TWO WEEKS BECAUSE OF CHRISTMAS.

I do have to tell you one of the gifts she is going to get from Santa this year is a box of all different kinds of papers. Your have no idea how much Emma love to write notes to everybody. So Santa got her all different sizes, shapes, journals, note pads, binders and anything else he could think of………. I know that will put a big smile on her face. I hope now when I go look for a post it I will be able to fine one. Gotta  her!!!!
