Elf Surprise

Elf Surprise 2012

NEW RELEASES and Christmas Cuties for December at Digital Delight. So stop on over and see all the wonderful new releases and all the inspiration from the cards the design team has done with these images. My images is called Elf SurpriseMagical Winter sentiment set and paper is from Mistletoe Christmas Digital paper pack.  Elf Surprise is such a fun digital image. I finally got to use the stocking punch I got from Stampin up last year and added a couple little goodie (gingerbread man & penguin) to the stocking. The leaves is a punch from Martha Steward called frond. With the Elf hand out I just had to put something in one of them so I added a candy cane.

There is a challenge going on this week at Delightful Challenges and it is all about CHRISTMAS, we would love to have you join us.

Elf Surprise left 2012

Christmas ribbon from Michael's. The flower on the stocking I made with a 8 petal punch and holly punch.

Elf Surprise right 2012

Punched out some small circles from sparkle foam and added to the top. A small square to put under the sentiment.

Elf Surprise flat 2012

The inside of the card. Martha Steward snowflake border punch and a mitten punch from punch bunch. I leave the area open for a stamped message or a hand written message.

Here are the copic markers used to color my image.

Close up of the image. I had some problem with my E21 when I was doing the face. I was not happy about that, so after I cleaned my marker tip out real good soaked in in alcohol for about half hour and dried it out real good them refilled the marker and now it is working just fine.

I could look at your cards for hours and still see something so precious that I missed before. The detail on that stocking, the little mitten punch on the inside, the layered candycane in his hand...just WONDERFUL. Reminds me of my favorite game Candyland. :)
hugs to you Pat and I hope you're doing fantastic.
