We are Back!!!! Cards for Men Challenges

Back to School 2012

After having a couple of months off we are ready to back to creating and designing cards. So we would like to have you join us for our challenge so stop by Cards for Men. We also have a couple of NEW girls, Lisa and Carol on the design team so I want to give them a great big welcome and let them know how happy we are to have them. This is a bag that I made and it is called Bag-a-Lope Treat Bag and these are made out of envelopes any size and are  so easy to make. A cyber friend of mind did a video on her blog on how to make The Bag-a-Lope Treat Bags and I wanted to try them. So I want to share them with you.  I want to still make some more. I think these are perfect for any holiday. Start Date:  10 September 2012

Back to School side 2012

This is a little side view. The image I used is from The stamping Boutique and it is called Desk and here is a close up. The 1,2,3 are brads. I’m sorry I do not have a picture of the copic markers I used. Thought I uploaded the picture and deleted it.

Back to School close up

I did make another Bag-a-Lope Treat Bag but I have a little story about that one. I found two Whipper Snapper stamps that I have had and I though these would be fun to color thinking they both where ladybugs and not thinking anything about it and I’m coloring away and I get all done and I’m  looking at them and start to think (I should never do that) their faces are the same but the Schell is so much different and I start to laugh it is because one of them is a turtle. Oh well Happy Halloween!

Oh Lady bug 2012

I think they still look cute! What do you think? I thought of this saying I’m going to put on the back and this is what it will say: One ladybug said to the turtle, why do you look like a ladybug? And the turtle will reply the artist did not realize I was not a ladybug until after she colored me. Happy Halloween!

Oh Lady bug side 2012

Here is the side. I add some glossy accents, ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, ladybugs had in my stash and the punch is from Martha Steward called ladybug border.

Here are the copic markers I used to color the images.

Close up of the images.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful week end. The grand kids started soccer so got to watch them run after the soccer ball, just to funny. We sure have cooled down as far as the weather. Have a good week and until next time be safe.
