Nature

Nature 2012
So happy to be back. My computer died on me so that is why I have been so quiet. Now it is all fixed and ready to go again. So we have over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge is  ANYTHING GOES WITH BINGO here is the chart and I hope you have fun with it. On my card I did distress inks, brads and sentiment. Challenge ends May 16, 2012.

Nature 2012 left

I used crygoen white paper and I love the way it sparkles so after I was all done I did add just a little more glitter spray and I love how that turned out. Start with a card front that is bigger then you want so after you can trim off the edges. I used all distressed inks and I sponged the background first. I colored a little of the sun area with mustard seed and after a few minutes (so it can dye) I punched out 1.75 inch round circle out of Eclipes delicately sticky adhesive paper (great for masking) and placed it on the inked mustard seed ink as I did not want that area to get anymore different colors. As I’m adding the colors I always work from off the paper, I added some mustard seed out of the circle now wild honey, tumbled glass, bundled sage and old paper. These colors I used mostly for the edges chipped sapphired and forest moss remember to blend color as you are adding them.

The stamp set I used is called Inspired by Nature from Stampin up. What I used for coloring the stamps is Marvy Brush Markers, if you have not used them these have a large brush you ink your stamps with the markers and I just sprits a little water on them so they do not dry and apply the stamp to the paper. The colors I used are rosewood, ochre, brown, pine green and butter yellow.
I hope you understand this if you have any questions PLEASE ask. We would love to see your card at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge and stop by and see what the other DT members have done their cards are wonderful.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I have missed everyone. Sorry if I have not stopped by your blog. I’m sure I will be their soon.

I missed you and your beautiful creations. I love your card. I always love your cards, but this one is gorgeous. I will have to try in as I have the stamp set. What kind of sponges do you use and will any kind of ink work? I don't have much luck sponging.

Hi, Pat. Welcome back to Cyber World. I just love your card and great tutorial. I love playing with distress inks and creating my own backgrounds. You did an awesome job and I'm going to give this a try!
After finishing reading your post I was rolling on the floor with that cute little bunny and kitten. So funny I had to share with my friends.
