Eskimo Emily
Hello everyone sorry I have not been around. I have been working on all kinds of Christmas surprises. I will share them with you as soon as I finish. This year I did several home made gifts. This card I made for my granddaughter Emma she is 7 year old and she will just love Eskimo Emily all done up in pinks. The image called Eskimo Emily and the Mistletoe Christmas Digital Paper Pack and the magical winter sentiment are all from Digital Delight so today is our Delightful Thursday and all of the girls have done some stunning cards for you to see. I decided to use one of the grand nestabilities label 4 to make my card. The other dies used are memory box snowflake ornament, frosty border, winter land tree. Cherry Lynn designs lace light deco border. I’m also using my card for The Outlaws challenge over at Twisted Thursday and the twist is week is a child Christmas.
Digital Delights by Louby Loo is donating this stamp in both colored and uncolored to anyone who wishes to make a card for Sandy Hook Elementary. Please only take if you wish to make a card. You can pick it up here http://digitaldelightsbyloubyloo.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=9.
When I cut the card out I was not thinking about how it was going to stand on it’s own so I needed to use an easel. I used all kinds of fluff and I colored it with cherry ink refill and it turned out pretty good. The trees used on the top is ribbon so I used gold and green, I do love those trees. Then I added some more Christmas ribbon I got from the Christmas section of Michaels.
I thought the sentiment would be nice for her, we love our children to believe in magic.
This is the inside of the card. I just noticed I did not put a white sheet inside so I will have to do that so I can write a little something to Emma.
These are the copic markers used to color the image.
Delightful challenges for this week is anything goes. Stop on over and see all the wonderful cards. The challenge this week is going to be for TWO WEEKS BECAUSE OF CHRISTMAS.
I do have to tell you one of the gifts she is going to get from Santa this year is a box of all different kinds of papers. Your have no idea how much Emma love to write notes to everybody. So Santa got her all different sizes, shapes, journals, note pads, binders and anything else he could think of………. I know that will put a big smile on her face. I hope now when I go look for a post it I will be able to fine one. Gotta her!!!!

Elf Surprise
NEW RELEASES and Christmas Cuties for December at Digital Delight. So stop on over and see all the wonderful new releases and all the inspiration from the cards the design team has done with these images. My images is called Elf Surprise, Magical Winter sentiment set and paper is from Mistletoe Christmas Digital paper pack. Elf Surprise is such a fun digital image. I finally got to use the stocking punch I got from Stampin up last year and added a couple little goodie (gingerbread man & penguin) to the stocking. The leaves is a punch from Martha Steward called frond. With the Elf hand out I just had to put something in one of them so I added a candy cane.
There is a challenge going on this week at Delightful Challenges and it is all about CHRISTMAS, we would love to have you join us.
Christmas ribbon from Michael's. The flower on the stocking I made with a 8 petal punch and holly punch.
Punched out some small circles from sparkle foam and added to the top. A small square to put under the sentiment.
The inside of the card. Martha Steward snowflake border punch and a mitten punch from punch bunch. I leave the area open for a stamped message or a hand written message.
Here are the copic markers used to color my image.
Close up of the image. I had some problem with my E21 when I was doing the face. I was not happy about that, so after I cleaned my marker tip out real good soaked in in alcohol for about half hour and dried it out real good them refilled the marker and now it is working just fine.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonderful day. I hope you are having a awesome holiday season.
