The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge has started for this week and the twisted for this week is anything goes. I have been wanting to try this die cut it is called Ballroom Slipper by sizzix. It was not hard to do once I found the instructions on line. They have printed instructions and a video so it made it easy to put together.

The papers I used are from my scrap ben.

I added some diamond mesh to give it some sparkle. I just love heal. So easy to make.

Some stickles all around the edges.

A prisma flower for the top. It was fun to make and they give you different pieces so you can make the front low cut, can make it as a slipper with no heal all kind of thing you can add to the front. So I’m going to play around with some. You could even make them as Christmas ornaments and tie a string on the back to hang it.

Welcome everyone to my blog. It is cloudy day here in Wisconsin but the weather man say we will see sunshine tomorrow so when it is so cloudy I like to hide in my craft room. What do you like to do? My paper is from Simple Stories, snap color vibe.

Spellbinder delightful foliage die is in the new sections. Used some distress ink scatted straw on the edges.

My flower is from Spellbinder call create a Gerber Daisy. For my green I used punch a bunch mega rock fern punch. Added a pearl in the center of the flower.

Inside of the card, the flowers are metal one. Left open for a sentiment or a written message.

Beautiful Moments of a Perfect Day

I did cut out each butterfly 3 time and layered them.

Inside of my card. Stamp is by stampfastic.

   

Colored the butterfly’s with Wink a Stella.

each butterfly has 3 layers.

The antenna of the butterfly’s I made using black wire.

This is a button bards, use 2.

Made a bow and added lace and ribbon.

Where have all the BUGS gone?

Sorry have not been around been having problems with my Arthritis (all over) but bad in my hands. So had to go in and have some steroid injections in my hands (ouch), so the medication is finally working and I can type and make some cards again. Why does life do this us? I suffered with (really bad) migraines most of my life when I was younger and then they seam to kind of go away and now I suffer with Arthritis and it is both kinds. I have to remember to tell myself it could be worse, right?
Okay this card was for last weeks Twisted Thursday challenge and the twisted was to make a gatefold card. Now my wonderful quilling you see, I did these a long time ago when my hands worked really good. I thought the bugs would go nice with the boot. Our sponsor for this month is Bugaboo. COLD OUTSIDE

I have had this card done for awhile so I used this one for The Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge and for this week the twist is to add “bad or eyelets”.
Over at The Outlawz we have a Progressive Freebie challenge where if you want to join in you need to sign up by send an email to outlawsprogressivechallenge@gmx.com , requesting the free image for the month, sending your first and last name, we are in January right now, so the little girl from “All Dress Up” and she is called “Winter Girl”. If you want to do this you need to make a card with her by the end of January 30. Post it in the challenge area.

Okay, I have somehow lost my notes on this card, so I will do my best.

All the pearls bare from All that Bling.

This what I did to the inside. I used a 6x6 stencil from crafters workshop called mini mod circles and used brilliance moonlight white. Add some rick rack, more pearls and brads.

The flowers I used Nellie Swellen punches. I used a foil to punch out the flowers, another long lost something I found. I also put the foil behind  the die cut.  You can see the ribbon a little more in this picture.

Here are my brads, can you tell they are fuzzy?

I hope you can tell… One of my blogging friends did this and I thought this was pretty neat. Cut the Spellbinder die out 2 times and moved one a little to the side. I think that looks pretty cool.

Christmas Morning

It is time again for Scrapy Lands challenge #9 to start, it starts today and ends on January 20 it is a Bi Weekly challenge. Here is the link to the challenge blog, come and job us or stop by and see all the beautiful cards the other designers made.The image is from Mo’s digital pencil and the image is called “Pammy Stocking” My card that I made is kind of like if you remember not I think this is reaching in 2013 in October I made several candy boxes for the kids for Halloween, but this one the front is different and I do not have a name for it.

The die cut used to frame the little girl is called spellbinders/nestabilities Labels 40. Memory Box Frostyville border, Memory box Frosty vine border, Echo Park Merry Christmas die. Punched out a lot of tiny snowflakes with my tiny snowflake punch from Punch a Bunch.

As you can tell on the right side my tree kind of tipped to the side. Remember this is made with love. Here I have a view looking down into the card.

I added things to the sides because this is Emma (granddaughter) Christmas card but if you do not add things to the sides this card will fold down nicely in a large envelop.

Top view of the card. Always have to add sparkles for Emma she is 9 years old so as much bling as possible for her.

This is the strip on the bottom.

Here is just the top view, I added a plastic piece put Merry Christmas on it and a bunch of gems to look like 2 Christmas trees. These decorated accents are from Robert Stanley silver collection.

If you look real hard I did add gem all kinds and all kinds of colors.

I entwined the frostyville border and the frosty vine border.
