CREATED BY PATRICIA ST MARTIN
This is not a hard card to make! All you have to do is 3 folds and 2 cuts and I have the pattern for you so you can make one. First things, our Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge has started and as always it is ANYTHING GOES with a TWIST and the twist for this week is “YOUR FAVORITE THING”. How easy can that be? My favorite thing with this card is folds, silhouettes, sentiment and using the entire stamp set. To be honest I do not have one favorite thing… I love making cards so whatever I do I enjoy, and that’s the truth.
Our Sponsor for the month of August is The Besties, Sherri has created some fantastic images for you to win.
Card is called Tri-Shutter Card/with full front and I do love that about this Tri-Shutter card, when it is folded the size is 6”by4” so it is easy to put in an envelope. The stamp set is from 100% proof and I used the entire stamp set. Stamp everything with versafine onyx black and set aside to make sure everything dried. Added a ribbon and brads. The paper is from DCWV but I do not know what stack it is from.
You can click on the pattern and save as and you will have the pattern.
This is what the front looks like. Added a little ribbon, buttons and paper flowers with gems.
If you try and make the card and have a problem let me know and I will help you. If you get a chance stop by and see what the other designers have created for the challenge, They have created some awesome cards.
It has been time for Color Me Creative challenge #75, and for the challenge it is all about ANY WAY YOU LIKE IT, the challenge ends August 30 2013 8pm, all you need to do is color an image. You can use Copic markers, Pisma colored pencils, Pro Marker or other alcohol markers. Can enter up to 3 projects and no back linking. My images is from Sugar Nellie and the name of the image is Rebecca. Our sponsor is Marker Pop! You can win a $25.00 Gift Certificate.
The paper is from DCWV it is the Linen stack. The dies spellbinders Gold labels four and eyelet border. Cheery Lyn designs lace light deco border. La la land craft die banner.
The hearts can from La La Lands banner and the butterflies are from punch a bunch.
This is the inside of the card. I had to cut Gold labels 4 down to get it to fit but I think it is ok. Left open for a sentiment or a stamped message.
These are the copic markers I used to color her. This is the finish Rebecca.

I did something a little different this time, I used some prisma colored pencils after I color Rebecca with my copic markers. I wanted to see if that made any difference. The first one you can see I did not finish the sky but that is the one only colored with the copics. The second one is colored with both copics and pencils. I found that it was very easy to add the pencils and I found it more controlling in the tiny places to add more color. What do you think? I think it turned out really nice. You be honest.

I received in the mail a package from Magnolia Surprise that I won. I had no idea what I was getting. I received 2 magnolia stamps and some paper. That was a big surprise to me. I just love the stamps one is called Tilda makes a blueberry blanket and the other one has no name on it but it looks like Tilda sitting and she is a pirate, so I will have to look her up and see what she is called. This is so awesome, I never win anything.. I’m here today to tell you about the Cards for Men Challenge and for our challenge #17 is all about MAKING A BIRTHDAY CARD AND MAKING IT FUNNY. The challenge starts today and ends Sept 2 2013. The sponsor is QKR Stampede and you can win 5 digital images. My image is called ALL TIED UP and you can find him here.

I’m not a funny kind of Birthday card person but I did think of several really cute sentiments that would work with this adorable bear but I can still stamp a Happy Birthday on the inside. These two sentiments are from ATC and I thought they where perfect with this guy and get my mind out of the gutter.
The papers are from stampin up stack called just add cake and several layer from the stack. There is not much to the card, I feel like I cheated, that is how easy it was. Add some orange and green metal dots.
Used stampin up pinking hearts border for the edges. Left open for a stamped or written sentiment.
Copic markers used to color the image. This is the close up.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope your week end was wonderful and everyone is dry and away from the fires.
