Graduation Day 2011
I just finish this drawer card for one of my best friend who just Graduated from Collage. I’m so proud of her. I was with her when she first started and believe me it has been years and she has gone though a lot of ups and downs and I’m still here for her. I wanted to make her something really special and I know she will treasure for the rest of her life. I thought she could put some special things in the drawer. I also reinforced everything with cardboard so it should last a long time. Blue is her favorite color so I did a lot in blues. The Graduation girl and the class of 2011, I found is from Digital Delight shop. The Congrats image I found at Stamp Fairy. I did used Spellbinder Labels #8 the large one to cut out the the cardboards and cut out the paper I wanted on top. The blue the is behind the girl is the labels #8 it is the second on in and I cut her out with labels #8 3rd one in. I hope you understand that. I created the bottom myself. I can give you a pattern from Splitcoast stampers, it is different then mine but I’m sure you all know me, I do it my way.
Here is with the drawer open. I did line the inside of the drawer. I also took a picture before I put the watermark on so you can see what the front of the drawer looks like. I had a little piece of wood that swirled so I put that on the front and I had this little knob and I colored it with Copic E49 because it was unpainted.
Several of my friends we are going to take her out to dinner on Friday and spend some time together, we always have a good time together.
I added a charm to her card, I thought she would like that. Something she could keep.
I used my copic. Hair E29, E25, E31. Face E11, E00, Sky BOOOO, B91, C00, C01, 0. Grass YG61, YG63, G94, G85. Diploma C1.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week.

Come along now.
This is from the New release called The Natural Beauty collection from Carmen Medlin. This stamp is called “The Traveler”. I did for the challenge at SCACD Friends Challenge Blog with Heart and for this week it is anything but it ends on Monday May 27th at 12:00pm and you can tell I’m really late with my card. If I was not this late I would do my dog over again. I’m not happy with how her turned out. I just love this stamp and I’m going to do it again. The dog is so beautiful but I did not do him right. I’m happy with how my lady turned out. The girls on the Design Team did a wonderful job this week on their cards you should stop over and check out their cards. The paper I used id from K & Co. the set is called Winter Wonderland. I did cut out The Traveler and used pop dots to raise her up. I added some yellow ribbon. Also some gem stones.
Now you can really see what I mean about the dog. Here is the close up of the stamped image. I used copic markers. Her dress BG70, BG72, BG75, BG78. Shall YG23, YG25, YG21. Feather in her hair Y06, Y02. For her hair, dog, the brown on her dress and her face E00, E11, E30, E31, E33, E35, E41, E42, E43, E44, E47, E50, E59.
I do want to thank everyone that has commented on my cards. I have had a problem commenting on peoples blogs and from what I understand other people are having the same problem. Personally I’m really tired of this. I get to the blog and I write everything out and I go to post and it tells me I’m ANONYMOUS… Then it want me to sign into blogger and I do but it just keeps doing it over and over again. I sure wish they would get this fixed because I’m tired of this. Sometimes I get lucky and the comment will post but most of the time it will not post so I’m not staying away from you blogger is not letting post a comment and I do not know what to do.
Thanks you for stopping by. I hope you have had a wonderful Memorial week end. Here in Wisconsin it was not very nice. It was very cool and rainy so I hope it was nice by you. Have a great week.

Patriotic Colors /show your Pride
The sad thing is I found this challenge hard to do. We had certain images to work with and I thought this one would be the best. This is For Fun Challenges Blog. This weeks challenge is Patriotic colors/show your pride. How American can you be from the old west. This week our sponsor is The Digi Doodle Shop - they have a wonderful variety of images, and great monthly specials! This month May 25% off Spring Floral images, and a free variety pack (4 great images) with your $5.00 purchase!
- The Digi Doodle Shop (a very creative mother and daughter team), began over three years ago, making digital scrapbook kits. Soon followed kits available commercially, and then came digital stamps.
They hope that their stamps inspire creativity, and bring you much joy. They aim to please, so if you can't find something you want, they would love to hear from you. They love to bring someone else's vision to life, So we challenge you to create with PATRIOTIC COLORS ... our design team created these beauties to inspire you....
I’m so proud of our Men and Woman that are serving our country. I can not say enough about our SOLDIERS and what they have done for our country. With MEMORIAL DAY COMING THIS WEEK END WE NEED TO REMENBER ALL THE SOLIDERS AND WHAT THEY HAVE GIVEN UP SO WE CAN HAVE A FREE COUNTRY.
I did what is call a RECESSED WINDOW CARD and here is the link if you want to make one. My image that I used is called “Cowgirl and Horse”. I did it really simple because I did not want to take away from the image. I really like the image but it was hard to work with for a Patriotic theme, I would of liked to have had something that was toward that theme. But you take what you get and work with it.
Here is the close up of my image. I did make it 3D. I colored it with Copic markers. The fence E21, E23, E25, E27. Face E13 and E00. Hair E33, E31, E30, E50. Hat, Shirt, Belt and Boots R22, R24, R27, R29. Jeans and Jacket B41, B45. Grass YG61, YG63, G85, G29. Ground E42, E43. Horse C1, C3, C5, C7. C9. I did use a little white and I’m still not sure it I like that.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card. I do have to tell you that this is my last challenge with For Fun Challenges. It has been fun and all the girls have been really fun to work with but I have decided to take some time for myself this summer. That does not mean that I will not be putting cards on my blog, I still have my other DT that I’m on. Also I wanted to tell you I put a link on the top of my blog for the Red Cross if you want to help the people that have been hit with all those Tornadoes down south, all you have to do is click on it and it should bring you to The Red Cross. God Bless all the people that live down their they need all of our prayers and money if we can do it.

Dude!
I’m sorry for being late in posting my card. I have been out of town, but now I’m back. So here is my card for Challenge #11 for Cards for Men. I found this card really hard to do because the theme for the challenge is NO PAPER and what that means is no designer paper just solid papers, not much as far as embellishments. They want the image to do all the talking. The image I used is called “Cool Kid”
Start Date: 23rd May
End Date: 5th June
Theme: No Paper i.e. no designer paper
Sponsor: Kenny K
website: www.kennykdownloads.com
Logo:
Prize: 1st Prize - 3 digis, 2nd Prize - 2 digis & 3rd prize - 1 digi
Blurb: I'm sure you're all familiar with the wonderful work of Kenny K's Shop but what about the man (and woman) behind those wonderful creations. Take a look here to see their journey, http://www.kennykdownloads.com/about-kenny-and-elena.php
I used Copic to color my image. Pants B99, B95, B93, B91. Back pack B91, B93. Sweatshirt Shirt YG61, YG63. Skin E11, E00. Hair YR20, YR21, E21, E31. Shoes YR04, YR09, B91, B93. I used some of the Spica pens Pitch Black and Sky Blue. On the edges I used Stampin’up Ticket Corner punch. The paper I used is from Core’dinations Elements, I love their paper. The Caps I have in the upper right I made the using the Epiphany Crafty tool and I punched out the same paper as I used for layering the image. I add some of the green and orange Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope everyone had a wonderful week end.

The Bride is waiting
This card I made for a challenge we have at CMC Copic Challenge Group, This is Challenge #18. We need to use a lot of WHITE. I really do not know if I did that but I tried, I’m not a white person so this was some what hard for me. Use the Inspiration Photo below to inspire your project if you'd like but your image should have A LOT of WHITE ON IT with only 1 pop of color!! You can certainly do a white wedding project but it is not required, just make sure there is LOTS OF WHITE! Remember you must shade white with grays, blues or creams!
I love the image I used it is from from Vivian Lau and is called “Doll-Bride”. She has a lot of beautiful ladies. I did use a lot of punches. From the top from Martha Steward is the Iron Gate punch, Garden Trellis punch and the Monarch Butterfly punch.
The flower on the left is called Queen Anne’s Lace and I used punches to make the flower, the mini snowflake for the flowers, white oak punch bunch and the medium Cosmos punch bunch. I put a charm on the card as you can see it is a heart and it says on the charm LOVE. I did punch a lot of things out with Funky Foam it is real cheep and you can get it in so many different colors and they all sparkle so beautiful. The swirls you see their is a die cut from Magnolia. The larger white flowers I punched out with Nellie Snellen punches. I added some gem to the butterfly.
The greens is a Punch Bunch called Mega Rock Fern. I tiny hearts punch is called Corner Decoration Punch it is 3D/5. The Brides flowers I used the mini snowflake and the mini white oak leaf and for the middle I used yellow Spica Glitter Pen. I made a very small ribbon for the flowers.
To be honest I think she turned out beautiful. I did not know what to do for her dress. It was not really fancy so I wanted to add some glamour to her. I always picture a veil as having sparkles and some diamonds her and their. So I did that. Now her dress really needed something. I did not want to put sparkles all over so I thought just by the ruffles and not right to the top and I added some gems, perfect but the top of her dress needed something so I added the same to the top and this is what it turned out to be. I do wish I had not started with the gold pearls but I had and I did not have enough to finish off the hold dress with the gold pearls but then I do not know it I would of liked it.
Thanks for stopping by. I do hope you like my card. It was a hard one.

Something for Someone Special
This week at For Fun Challenges is to do a GET WELL CARD. The challenge has started today and will end on May 24 1at 11:59pm. Our Sponsor this week is Sitichy Bear.
“Hi my name is Stitchy and I am Co-Owner of Stitchy Bear Stamps...we started this store April 1st, No Fooling haha..I live in upstate New York with my husband and two TEENAGE adults haha, I do say that loosely as they think they run the show here, NOT... I have been creating stamps for a little less than a year now and I am totally addicted to the craft..I started about 4 years ago making digital scraps and I knew there was much more out there, so a friend of mine introduced me to digital stamps...and the rest they say is history...I look forward to seeing all the beautiful creations come through...good luck everyone..stitchy xoxox"
Our challenge winner this week, will receive a $10.00 USD gift certificate to use on Stitchy Bear images (no, not the certificate shown below, that is a graphic for illustration purposes only, and doesn't have a value of $10.00).
I also stamped the inside of this card.
For the inside of the card the sentiment is from Inky Anties, the ink I used is Brilliance sky blue, and the Kleenex Box is from Amuse Art Stamps and I colored the box with Spica pens. I just punched out with the medium size daisy Punch Bunch punch.
About my card I made a standard size card this time. I did make the flowers. I made the flowers to match the flowers the little boy has in his hand. On his tag I wrote get well. The stamped Get Well is from The Angel Company. I sponged around him with Brilliance ink Sky Blue. I colored him with copic markers. I added some ribbon. The punch I used for the Get Well was from Paper Shapers 1 1/4 inch Scallop Square.
It would be so nice it I could write in that upper space but I just do not know how to do that. But I wanted to tell you about my flowers, It is the Punch Bunch Daisy punch and I punch 3 for each flower. Popped then up with my tool and turned the petals just a little. Now I glued then together. All are Punch Bunch punches fond, cedar spring and fern. After I had then all put together I added the Stickles glitter glue orange, yellow and cinnamon.
Here is my little guy. The Butterfly punch is one I have had for a long time and it does not say who made it. I put 3 blue gems on the butterfly and some Diamond Stickles glitter glue to the wings.
I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy designing and creating cards as much as I do.

My Sister-in-law sent me this and it is really funny!
THIS IS ME!!!!
Senior citizens are constantly being criticized for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary. We know we take responsibility for all we have done and do not blame others.
HOWEVER, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizens who took:
The melody out of music,
The pride out of appearance,
The courtesy out of driving,
The romance out of love,
The commitment out of marriage,
The responsibility out of parenthood,
The togetherness out of the family,
The learning out of education,
The service out of patriotism,
The Golden Rule from rulers,
The nativity scene out of cities,
The civility out of behavior,
The refinement out of language,
The dedication out of employment,
The prudence out of spending,
The ambition out of achievement or
God out of government and school.
And we certainly are NOT the ones who eliminated patience and tolerance from personal relationships and interactions with others!!
And, we do understand the meaning of patriotism, and remember those who have fought and died for our country.
Just look at the Seniors with tears in their eyes and pride in their hearts as they stand at attention with their hand over their hearts!
YES, I ' M A SENIOR CITIZEN!
I'm the life of the party...... even if it lasts until 8 p.m.
I'm very good at opening childproof caps....
with a hammer.
I'm awake many hours before my body allows me to get up.
I'm smiling all the time because I can't hear a thing you're saying.
I'm sure everything I can't find is in a safe secure place, somewhere.
I'm wrinkled, saggy, lumpy, and that's just my left leg.
I'm beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps.
Yes, I'm a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life!
Now if I could only remember who sent this to me, I wouldn't send it back to them, but I would send it to many more too!
Spread the laughter
Share the cheer
Let's be happy
While we're here.
Go Green - Recycle CONGRESS!!
I thought I would share this with everyone. My Sister-in-law Georgiana sent this to me and I think it is so funny. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Anne and her friend are going fishing.
I’m sorry I thought I had not put this card on my blog and I some how I forgot. This is for a challenge over at CMC challenge Blog it is Bi monthly challenge and it ends today. You can only used copic markers on your cards. We have a chance to win a $20.00 Gift Certificate from Tiddly inks. I made a Whiper card and I will share with you how to make it. My image is from Mo Manning it is called “Knot”.
Our theme is Spring Break. Use the Inspiration Photo below to inspire our project and how you color your images with copics. Make your projects using images that reflect vacations, spring, summer, beach & warm weather! The photo sure makes you feel nice and warm. So that is what I tried to do.
Here is a side view of the card. I did do the sky, water and sand all in copics. Of course I colored everything else with copic markers also. The punch I used was a Martha Steward one called embroidered Floral. The fish on the side are buttons. On the whiper is a fishing pole and it has a fish charm on it. That is ribbon with the sail boats. You can click here and view the instructions and video on How to make the whiper card.
This is how the whiper part looks. You can out anything you want on the whiper and it does go up and down.
When you fold your card the whiper goes down between the card and you do not see it and the card folds all the way down to be put in an envelope.
Last but not least here is the close up of the image. I do hope you enjoyed my card. Have a wonderful week end. Be safe.

Here is Amy and her Bunny.
We are starting For Fun Challenge and it starts today and ends on May 17th at 11:59pm and our Sponsor for this challenge is Soft Pencil. They have a lot of Whimsical images so take a few minutes and stop over and check then out. My image is called “Growing flowers in a pot”. What I made this time is what is call a Joy Fold Card.
We are also having a sketch challenge and here is the sketch.
Here is a video on how to make A Joy Fold Card. It is from Digital Delight and they are making a valentines card.
I have put the little yellow tabs one on the top left and one on the bottom left and that is what keeps my card closed. Now this is when you are starting to open the card. My paper is from Die Cuts with A View. Lime color ribbon. Spellbinders Scalloped Oval to cut out my image.
And you need to decorate the inside of the card. So when it starts to unfold this is what it looks like.
All the way opened. I do have a closer view of the sentiments but these are all from The Angel Company.
I used Memento ink Summer Blue. I do think I need to get a reinker because that was pretty light. I punched this out with the Marvy Uchida Purple size oval. The flowers are from Sandylian Essentials stickers.
Of course this is the middle. Memento Rose Bud ink. Stamp’in up extra large scallop oval punch and the Sandylian Essentials sticker flower.
Memento ink Tangelo ink and the same Stamp’in up punch and the same flower. I went around the oval with Brilliance Ink Sky Blue.
The card will stand up on it own but this is how it would look.
Here is my close up of my image. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed my card. Maybe you will give one a try. Let see what other kinda of card I will come up with next time.
Hugs, Patricia

It’s Just the little things.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day and a great week end. I sure did. All three of my sons came by at different times Kurt my middle son called bright and early and he took Me and of course his wife Jessica and the kids Emma and Aiden out for breakfast so I got to see Jessica before she had to go to work. Then I went to Menards with Kurt and the Kids and we picked up some bird seed and I got a new side door. Beginning of winter we had a bad wind storm and it ripped our outside door off so we could not use the side door all winter. So it will be nice now we can use the side door. My some Kurt installed it for me and I made sure I got a real good strong nice one this time and the wind will not rip this one off. Then Rob came over and helped Kurt some and he even got me a card (Hallmark). Then David came, no card but I got a gift certificate for Hobby Lobby all three of then stayed for a while and Kurt and Rob left and David and I ordered a pizza and watched a basketball game (I was not thrilled but I was doing something with my son). So I did have a wonderful day with my guys.
