Where have all the BUGS gone?

Where have all the bugs gone 2015 f
Sorry have not been around been having problems with my Arthritis (all over) but bad in my hands. So had to go in and have some steroid injections in my hands (ouch), so the medication is finally working and I can type and make some cards again. Why does life do this us? I suffered with (really bad) migraines most of my life when I was younger and then they seam to kind of go away and now I suffer with Arthritis and it is both kinds. I have to remember to tell myself it could be worse, right?
Okay this card was for last weeks Twisted Thursday challenge and the twisted was to make a gatefold card. Now my wonderful quilling you see, I did these a long time ago when my hands worked really good. I thought the bugs would go nice with the boot. Our sponsor for this month is Bugaboo. My images is called “Rain Boot”.

All the pearls bare from All that Bling.

Cold Outside 2015 i

This what I did to the inside. I used a 6x6 stencil from crafters workshop called mini mod circles and used brilliance moonlight white. Add some rick rack, more pearls and brads.

Cold outside 2015 fl

The flowers I used Nellie Swellen punches. I used a foil to punch out the flowers, another long lost something I found. I also put the foil behind  the die cut.  You can see the ribbon a little more in this picture.

Here are my brads, can you tell they are fuzzy?

I hope you can tell… One of my blogging friends did this and I thought this was pretty neat. Cut the Spellbinder die out 2 times and moved one a little to the side. I think that looks pretty cool.

Winter never last forever

Winter never last forever 2015
Though The Craft Room Door challenge has started today and it is always “ANYTHING GOES”. Our sponsor for this challenge is Deedee digi’s and you can win a $15.00 gift certificate from the store.

The digital set I got is called “Hello Spring”. I wanted to try and use all the digital images that came with the kit and I even printed out the papers that came with the set.

I did create the sky, I used Brilliance ink colors sky blue, Mediterranean blue, yellow, ice blue, orange and orchid. Sponged the spy in by using the different colors.

Winter never last forever 2015 r
I used Marvy Uchida purple rectangle and tag punch. Punch a Bunch tiny tulip and tiny oak leaf. Martha Steward autumn branch border picket fence. Also tiny flower #2.

Winter never last forever 2015 l
Here is another view.

Winter never last forever 2015 bird
The bird.

Winter never last forever 2015 bunny
I used the bunny to hold the tag and the branches from the bird nest. It just tucks right behind the bunny and stay’s right their.

Winter never last forever 2015 bear
I tried to make a bush behind the Bears cave, he looks really happy that it is Spring time.

Winter never last forever 2015 t
Just adding a few of the flowers and a flower button the tag worked just fine. I finished the inside with the other paper and the sentiment and animal. This card for me was not and easy one but I need to challenge myself to work with these kinds of images. I do not know how people do it with colored images all the time. I feel like I cheating when I use an image that is already colored.

Winter never lasts forever 2015 i
Thanks for stopping by. How you are doing well, try and stay warm or try and stay cool. But most of all be happy and keep on crafting.
