Here is Amy and her Bunny.

We are starting For Fun Challenge and it starts today and ends on May 17th at 11:59pm and our Sponsor for this challenge is Soft Pencil. They have a lot of Whimsical images so take a few minutes and stop over and check then out. My image is called “Growing flowers in a pot”. What I made this time is what is call a Joy Fold Card.

Here is a video on how to make A Joy Fold Card. It is from Digital Delight and they are making a valentines card.

I have put the little yellow tabs one on the top left and one on the bottom left and that is what keeps my card closed. Now this is when you are starting to open the card. My paper is from Die Cuts with A View. Lime color ribbon. Spellbinders Scalloped Oval to cut out my image.

And you need to decorate the inside of the card. So when it starts to unfold this is what it looks like.

All the way opened. I do have a closer view of the sentiments but these are all from The Angel Company.

 

I used Memento ink  Summer Blue. I do think I need to get a reinker because that was pretty light. I punched this out with the Marvy Uchida Purple size oval. The flowers are from Sandylian Essentials stickers.

Of course this is the middle. Memento Rose Bud ink. Stamp’in up extra large scallop oval punch and the Sandylian Essentials sticker flower.

Memento ink Tangelo ink and the same Stamp’in up punch and the same flower. I went around the oval with Brilliance Ink Sky Blue.

The card will stand up on it own but this is how it would look.

It’s Just the little things.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day and a great week end. I sure did. All three of my sons came by at different times Kurt my middle son called bright and early and he took Me and of course his wife Jessica and the kids Emma and Aiden out for breakfast so I got to see Jessica before she had to go to work. Then I went to Menards with Kurt and the Kids and we picked up some bird seed and I got a new side door. Beginning of winter we had a bad wind storm and it ripped our outside door off so we could not use the side door all winter. So it will be nice now we can use the side door. My some Kurt installed it for me and I made sure I got a real good strong nice one this time and the wind will not rip this one off. Then Rob came over and helped Kurt some and he even got me a card (Hallmark). Then David came, no card but I got a gift certificate for Hobby Lobby all three of then stayed for a while and Kurt and Rob left and David and I ordered a pizza and watched a basketball game (I was not thrilled but I was doing something with my son). So I did have a wonderful day with my guys.

Here is a side view of my card. You can see it is a 3D. I made some little bushes and added some red beads to then to look like berries. To add some color. This gives you a good look at the boy with the balloons.

Here is a close up of Ridley. I have always like Ridley, Wendy at digital delight has him doing all kinds of things. All the images are colored with copic markers.

I just love the Dog on the swing. I added some punched out leaves for above his head so it would look like he is high in the trees.

• I like this sentiment it is from The Angel Company. I do seen to use a lot of their sentiments but they have some good one. It takes someone really special bless our lives and most of all it is just the little things they do.

A little Birdie told me it’s your Birthday

For Fun Challenge this week Starts today and ends on May 10th. Our sponsor this week is Paper Shelter images, I just love her images she has the cutest ones if you check out her images you are going to be glad you did.. The theme for this week is Mothers day or flowers. So I made a Birthday card. I would of love to make a Mothers day but I would of had no one to give it to, my Mom has been gone for a long time now. I made an Octagon Easel just for something different. My images is called “My Sweet Mommy”. Here is a side view of my card. I made a small Rosette for in the middle to help hold up the top card. On splitcoast they call it A Fan Fold Flower, if you would like to see how they make their flower here is the link.

This give you a better view and I added some gems to give some sparkle and the flowers paper is all sparkly is is hard to tell. Added three different ribbons yellow, pink and blue.

Here is the close up if my image and I colored it all with copic markers. The sentiments I used all came from CrackerBpx Palace. I hope you enjoyed my card. It came out so Springy. The flowers I did not make this time but the leaf is punched out. Thanks for stopping.

Me and Bubbles

You know how you start a card and for some reason you just can not stop adding things. Well that is what happen here. I was having so much making the flowers I used Martha Steward Hydrangea punch the one with the 3 little flowers. At first I started with the wreath and then I could not think of a card that would be big enough to put the wreath and a image so I thought about the Stand up card. I have not made this card in awhile.

Here is a side view and it shows how the card stands. It is such a girly card. Perfect for my grand daughter Emma she will love all the frills. Her birthday is in September so I will have to hide this from her because she always has to see my cards.

Something Yummy

 

I wanted to share with you this darling card I made. One of my friends her name is Holly she did a video on her blog on how to create A Front Pocket card so I wanted to try to make the one for myself and I really happy with the way it turned out.

I made my card for a challenge at SCACD Challenge #4 and the challenge for the week is the color blue and flowers. The stamp I used is from The Elisabeth Bell collection of The Peekers and she is the one called Sweet Mischief Peeker. The challenge ends Monday May 2, 12:00 noon.

 

 

I wanted to show you my flowers I MADE. These are Sweet Pea. A friend of mind had the punch and she let me use it to make these wonderful Sweet Pea’s flowers. I have no idea what the punch is called but it is tricky to make these little flowers but I just think they look so nice and I’m so glad I made then so now I have to order the punch so I can make then in all kinds of colors. As you can see I also used Martha Steward Trellis Punch and put it behind everything so the Sweet Pea’s had something to climb on. Of course I had to show you the ribbon, I did not want it to tell let out.

Here you can see the pocket a little more and I have taken out the sentiments.

This show you how I did mine. I did not do mine in circles. I would of if it would not of covered the little Peekers so I thought this would work better.

I set then on the side. I thought the one sentiment Time for something yummy! was so perfect for her reaching for the cake.

Life is a journey not a Destination.

Here is my card I made for the For Fun Challenge that is going on this week. It all about recycling something, so that is what I did. I had some short pieces of ribbon and some pieces of scrapes of paper so I used then up, a couple of odd buttons and my card was done. This was a way different card for me. I really tried to do something different. Things I would normally not do. We have The Cards for Men Challenge starting today. The theme is CIRCLES, I thought was a great idea, so I was trying to set my mind on circles. So this is what I came up with.

I did make an Easel Card. I have not made one in a long time. Here is Tutorial on making the card if you would like to make one. I found this plaid paper and it went pretty good with the paper I was using on top and I thought I would punch out some circles in different size and layer then. I also found some stickers I had that went just fine.

I added some Diamond glaze and some white Liquid Applique’ and puffed it up to look like frosting and whipping cream on the Latte. Added some Diamond Stickles glitter glue.

Work are! Working with Metals.

We had a challenge at CMC Copic Challenge Group. I would say this one was a real challenge it was doing different types of metals. The bench I used is a stamp I have from Stampouri (not sure if that is spelled right) and some of the pot and the containers are from then also. The flying geese are from Stampscapes. We have a slide show going on at the challenge site of all the cards that where entered so if you would like to see the cards you are welcome to stop by and see then. This is a challenge that is for people that use COPIC MARKERS so if you like to use copic markers and would like to join our challenges, the next challenge is to make a card using PASTELS COLORS it has started and it ends APRIL 29 10:00 am EST. It is for all levels of people that color with copic markers. We always have wonderful prizes. For this challenge you can win 3 copic markers of your choice and a package of Cryogan card stock.

One the left I tried to make the container rusty. Watering can I tried to make it look duty metal. That is my stuff looks like when it sits out side.

I do think the milk container turned out the best. The one on the right is a bucket.
