You Pull My Heart Strings

Sew Many Cards is sponsoring a challenge for Tellens Place if you would like to stop by there store click here. Ellen’s Place Designs is the home of Tellen Design images. These images are drawn by the owner, Terry’s, son. Terry thought it would be fun for her son to continue these images for her as he had done in 1999, when she first began selling her crafts at various venues. With the digital world becoming such an excited and explosive place with thousands of images to delight everyone’s fancy, it seemed natural to add to that universe.
Tellen’s Place Designs became home to these images for a wide variety of reasons. Having a home to call their own, this opened the door to creativity on so many levels; especially for beginners. Adding card and mini album kits answered many calls to those who wanted to dabble in the scrap world but did not have the time or space to house all of the goods needed to “scrap a world fantastic.”
Tellen’s Place is the beginning, where it all started. It is a place where Tellen Design images come to life through the weekly challenges. We are delighted to share the digital world with others and even more delighted to sponsor Sew Many Challenges, another wonderful place to be. We invite you to visit us at your next opportunity. If you would like to check out Tellens Place blog just click here.

She also has a challenge going on, if you would like to check out her challenge you can click her, I'm sure you can kind of tell from my card it is use blues and greens. Dream a little Dream

Hello ladies, I sorry I have not posted in awhile. Things have been a little crazy. I got some well needed house cleaning done and it makes me feel good. The stuff you keep putting off for tomorrow. I got it done. So with this wonderful winter weather today was a good day to get some cards done and I signed up to do this challenge for In Style images at Get Sketch if you would like to check the out you can click here and see what they have going on. I think In Style has some really cut images this one is called Ava and I really like there fairy's. So I followed the Sketch. I used copic markers to color Ava. I did something different I tried blending two colors together with the copic markers and I thought it turned out pretty good, it is something new I learned how to do. I'm also not one to do black hair so I thought I would try it, it's ok but I need some more work on that. I'm taking an on line class it is for 4 weeks and I'm trying the new things that Colleen (Teacher) has been showing us. I really happy with the things she has been showing us and I do think I will learn from her. Back to my card I also added some Spare Parts embellishments. Punched out my swirls from the Paper Sharper punch. I hope you enjoy my card. Thanks for stopping by.

Wishes in Lavender

I made this card for a challenge for Show and Tell It is sponsored by Sunshine Stamps. It is a monochromatic challenge, you can use white, tan or a neutral color with your color. I had to put red in for the heart, I'm sorry so I guess it is not monochromatic but I just could not make the heart purple. The images I used is one of Sunshine's images it is called "Romeo". If you would like to see more of Sunshine Stamps
click here. I also made this card as an Easel card. I colored it with copic markers. I used some of Martha Steward punches and made some strips and put them together and used that as a background and I also applied some to the bottom of the card and used a brad to help the card stand up.

Hugs and Kisses

I'm a kitty lover. I have two of them and one of them that look just like the one on this card is sitting next to me by the computer waiting for me to get done so I can give him some loven. I do not spoil them at all I just love them. His name is Felix and my other one is name is Bubba and he is an orange one. They make me so happy sometimes and I say that because they like to help me when I am making my cards and that does not make me happy. So we have an understanding (sometimes)! I made this card for a challenge that Sunshine Stamps is Sponsoring at Magical Crafts we need to make a valentine's card. So my images are called "Lovee sitting" and "Key to my Heart" they are from Sunshine Stamps. I added some ribbon and a felt heart put some Stickles glitter glue red color on the heart. Some bead things, I have no idea what they are called and a paper red heart for the background. When you make someone smile they will alway smile back.

Butterfly Swirls

I did this for Stef Sketch Challenge #2 at The Stamping Boutique. I had seen this on Splitcoast Stampers and I thought I would try it. It is called Birck Wall. Here is the tutorial if you would like to try it click here. I see I could of lined the bircks a little better in a few places but it did not turn out to bad for the first time and I think I am going to try it again. It was interesting to do. I used one of Glitterbabe (Stef's) images called "butterfly" and if you would like to see more of Stef images just go to The Stamping Boutique by clicking here. I added a few embellishments and some ribbon. If you have not made someone smile today you have not had a good day so go make someone smile and have a great day.
