Days of Christmas

Countdown to Christmas 12 25 2012

It’s our 3rd anniversary at Cards for Men Challenge blog and we have done something special every year to say thank you to all our followers, participants and sponsors. We have enjoyed seeing all your creations and have been inspired thought out the year and I hope you have been inspired by our created cards as well. This year we are having a special “DAY OF CHRISTMAS” event which will run from today until 14th of December. Each day a different team member will host the event and demonstrate a quick Christmas card/project. Make sure you pop on over to Cards for Men challenge blog and see who day it is. Their will be different sponsor each day and different prizes to be won. You need to leave a comment each day on the team members blog so pop over to find out who’s the host for each day and don’t forget, you have to be in it to win it!

I have day 1, so please leave a comment and tomorrow you will find out who wins my prize. The prize is a $10.00 voucher.

I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started card making about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a card making kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.

I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.

This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Countdown right 2012

I have seen so many countdown to Christmas cards, I just had to try and make one. They said all you need to do is use the side step card so that is what I did and this is how mind turned out. I used Mo Manning image called Taste of Winter. Used my Zutter and bind it all.
